This is a pretty decent show by Led Zeppelin, though Plant has trouble with his monitors and the audience often can't hear him (and he thus vanishes from this tape.) This is one of the more famous Led Zeppelin bootlegs, for good reason. It's a soundboard recording - great for fans of Jones and Bonham - and the performance is wild and tight. This is probably my favorite "The Train Kept A-Rollin'"; "How Many More Times" is long and entertaining; and "Communication Breakdown" is performed with amazing energy and power (and bass solo!). I'm not sure why "HMMT" spans two tracks. (shrug) [One disc; Complete set; soundboard recording;]

A muddy sound quality makes this bootleg one I really don't listen to often. Before their 4th US Tour, Zep played a coupel of warm-up shows. This is part of one. I guess the Lyceum Ballroom was quite tiny, compared to Zep's stature at the time. "Heartbreaker" and "What Is and What Should Never Be" are played for the first time ever in concert. My highlight though is the "Dazed" - some of my favorite Page violin bow/guitar playing ever. [One disc; incomplete set - though all that is available; audience recording]

The Led Zeppelin Australian/New Zealand tour was short, but amazing. The shows are just awesome! The recordings aren't that great, unfortunately, but recently new, better, and more complete sources have been discovered. This is from a cd-r tree direct from the master, but the sound is slightly muffled. There's much worse out there! The highlights are in the acoustic set (even though Plant stops "That's The Way" because the crowd is too boisterous), a bizarre "Celebration Day", and a cool "Whole Lotta Love" medley. [Two discs; Complete set; audience recording]

This is a soundboard recording, apparently, but it's a little quiet and one of the not-so-exciting ones. The atmosphere is kind of nice on the incredibly long "Dazed", which even has a cool instrumental version of "The Crunge" somewhere in there. "The Song Remains The Same" is also a great highlight, and is still introduced as being from "the new album". "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" is also quite nice.[Two discs; All available; soundboard recording]

This set is from a tree seeded from a newly discovered master tape. The sound is clear, but not perfect - the audience noise and age of the tape influence it a bit. It's one of those though where you get perfectly used to the sound quality as you listen. Highlights for me are the "All My Love" (which could get spotty live, but tonight it's quite nice), and a dynamite "Since I've Been Loving You". The 1980 "Whole Lotta Love"s are a trip.[Two discs; Complete set; audience recording]
