Winter has swept over the lands of Aiela sending everything into hiding. Valcon and Mortuus have been buried beneath 10 inches of snow as more storms threaten the pack lands. Fretta and Marcato are covered in a thin layer of ice with nearly 6 inches of snow overtop of that. Legato’s barren lands have been enveloped in a violent snowstorm, the ground being covered in thick layers of ice, frozen mud and impassable snow. Bandar has been blanketed in a heavy layer of snow that will only build until hotter days arrive.

The strange markings that have appeared randomly throughout Aiela have vanished leaving nothing as a reminder of their existence. The crimson scars that were scrawled upon rocks, trees, even in the bare snow, have disappeared without hint of their meaning. Nobody can be sure though a sense of unease and tension lingers in the cold air. Even the moon seems to feel the impending catastrophe as the once blue moon has deserted the sky.
