Frequently
Asked Questions
Now, these are some questions people bombard me with through e-mail. And if you
want to add your question to this list, fine fine...drop me a letter here.
- 1. How do you make
websites?
-
(sweatdrop) Well, first of all, you have to purchase a program that could
help you create web sites. The one I'm using is FrontPage 2000. There are
other programs too for that: Netscape Navigator Gold, WebEdit, PageMaker,
making them online at webgroups such as Geocities, AngelFire and related
sites, etc....But if you use any of these, you'll have to ask someone
other than me, because I have no experience with those other web editors.

- 2. Ooh!
How do you make those gif thingies?
-
They're called animated GIFs. I created them in Adobe ImageReady 2.0 after
I colored them in Adobe Photoshop 5.5. I didn't draw them, though.
FalconIce and PirateBurn did.

- 3. What
kind of fan fiction do you accept?
-
Hmm...any, just as long as... 1) you take it easy with the profanities; 2)
there's nothing explicit in them; and 3) it is related to any of the
topics here in this site. I now accept yaoi, and I will put warnings on
fics under that category. Just mail your fic to me w/ or w/o description.
4. Eeww!
Yaoi's gross. How can you like it?!
I know yaoi is immoral (very!) and that an
innocent (?) girl (yes, I'm a girl) like me should stay away from such sinful topics, but I can't help it. Yaoi
has its pros as well as cons. I don't completely disapprove of yaoi, but I'm not so hot about it either.
First of all, yaoi is basically not the same as being gay. For one thing, the stereotypical meaning of a "gay" is
a guy acting like a girl or wanting to be one. Yaoi is merely a guy liking another
guy, yet may or may not want to be a girl. Second, in most (if not all) RPGs and anime shows, I dislike, no wait, loathe
the female characters, especially if they're b*tchy (mind the language) and annoying. And if you're a hard-core
fanfic reader, you would NOT want to read about them (you've had enough of them in the game or series, why
read about them too in fanfics?!) So, if you're like me, you would prefer yaoi fanfics to straight. But I read straight,
too. In fact, I read both, and am neutral to both kinds of fanfics. Like I said, I don't disapprove of yaoi, but I'm
not a hard-core yaoi person. So, if you don't like yaoi, it's not my fault
you wander into the yaoi fics which I've clearly and considerately placed WARNINGS
on. I posted those fics NOT to discourage anti-yaoi people, but in fact,
to provide entertainment for those who DO read them. Avoid fanficism. Heed
the warnings!
