Duo Maxwell
 by PirateBurn (pirate_burn@yahoo.com)

Deep inside that cheerful smile, your seeming mirth, your laughter
Underneath the bright sunlight, what dark storms gather?
Orbiting your bleak universe is an inimical cold sun, of death
Maybe you want to smile your way until your very last breath
Arriving too late to save the ones that matter most
Xenophobia kicks in; and you're all alone and lost
Wondering why this darkness forever shadows your soul
Ever wishing you were significant, though a part of a whole.
Life is there so it may end, seconds gone in the blink of an eye
Living is only a minor option; you choose to live or die.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Read the first letters of the lines. ^_^
