Ice Cold Gaze
 by Hanchi (hanchi@whiteknights.zzn.com)

The ice cold gaze
That falls on me
Those cruel eyes
I always see.
The ice cold gaze
Doesn't pity at all
And silent tears
Would never fall.
The ice cold gaze
That's always there
In the face of a person
That never cares.
The ice cold gaze
That never dies
Feelings inside
It always denies
The ice cold gaze
Understand and look deep
The wounds of the past
That it's trying to keep.
The ice cold gaze
I look back and see
The wounded soul's
Endless pleas.
The ice cold gaze
When looking back at it
Why does it waver
Even just a little bit?
