Weak but still burning
This fire within
But then blown away
No trace of where it had been.
The coldest of the cold
Iciest of the ice
Is the inside of this person
Full of white lies.
Abandoned when still an infant
Was known as the Forbidden Child
Growing up learning how to be tough
He was neither gentle nor mild.
Not a trace of love or kindness
In his heart and in his mind.
But a life full of hatred
Is what everyone could find.
Sufferings and pleadings
Are things he tries to hide
But silent words of agony
Are screaming from inside.
Words couldn't even begin to describe
The loneliness that he feels.
Living a life all alone
With a scar that never heals.
Many think he's tough and bad
But yet they are all wrong
He's not that tough, he's not that bad.
He's also not that strong.
But no one gives time to understand
This lonely Forbidden Child
Some are scared, some hate him so
And some think he's too wild.
And so he keeps his sufferings
And his pain inside
And he truly was what they call
The feared and cold Forbidden Child.
They'd find his actions an icy shield
To hide his true self inside
And perhaps they could even revive
The hope that has long died.
