Tragic Love
 by FalconIce (falcon_ice@chichiri.zzn.com)

As the Sakura doth blow
And the winds do flutter
Let's now open a show
As if nothing else matters

On one fine spring day
We find a flame-haired bishonen
"Grumble , grumble," he says
All angry and sullen

"But Tasuki no da..." Chichiri doth smile
"Its a fine spring day, let's go out for a while!"
"So what?! I don't care!" Tasuki grouchily says
Then thinks for awhile before saying "Why now of all days?"

Chichiri looks at Tasuki-chan
And puts his hand on his hip
"If that's what you say no da.." he began,
"I'll think I'll be going on a trip!"

Tasuki looks up all confused,
While Chichiri packs his Kasa and staff.
Chichiri, feeling so used,
Goes away without a laugh.

Tasuki scratches his head and shrugs,
As the blue-haired monk disappears.
He clenches his fist and boxed the rug
As he realized that he held the monk dear.

The days and nights pass
And Tasuki patiently waits.
Would he see the monk at last?
He so wanted to tempt fate.

He finally got sick
Of waiting too long
Thin as a stick
That wasn't too strong

He shuddered for breath
And said "I so miss you!"
Then keeled over dead
When nobody knew.

Chichiri came back
But t'was too late.
He was certainly sad
For Tasuki he didn't hate

He then realized he did love him.
For he finally died of a broken heart
As he found out his sin.
Of leaving Tasuki so far apart,
So faraway from him.

Too late was love discovered
Don't wait too long
Don't leave love uncovered
For it is so strong

Tis a sad tale I say
For love is not all happy
But this is only a play
That's all too sappy

Now I bid goodbye
To my audience dear
I part with a sigh
And hope they come back here...
