The cost for these lookups is $2.50 per page. There is no fee if the name is not found. If the name is found I will photocopy all pages from the book containing the name you wish searched. If you prefer typewritten pages with larger letters it will be an additional $2.50 per page.

Here are the steps to follow:

with the first and last name (or family name) of the person
you want me to search. Include birth, marriage, or death dates if known.
  2. I will lookup the name and let you know if I have found any information for this person. If no information is found you will owe nothing.
  3. If I have found information I will let you know how much is owed. I will then need the payment by money order. (Also for your convenience, I am in the process of getting set up for paypal payments).
  4. I will send the prepared pages to you by email or by first class mail. Let me know which you prefer.

APPENDIX A
THE PILGRIM COMPANY
Who should properly be included in the Pilgrim Company?
The question is almost wholly one of definition. Many lists have been drawn, some more inclusive than others. By the criteria I have chosen to use, which are as broad as they can reasonably be made, the company includes:
(a) all "saincts", "strangers", hired hands, and indentured servants who came on any of the Pilgrims' ship - Mayflower, Fortune, Anne, Little James, Talbot, Handmaid, or second Mayflower
(b) all members of the Green Gate congregation who came at any other time, either soon or late
(c) those of the merchant adventurers who settled in the colony
(d) all others who settled at Plymouth and were granted land there before 1631 (such as Phineas Pratt, a refugee from Wessagusset, and those who came with John Oldham "on their perticuler").
