The era of Art Deco was such an exciting time!
The Artist ~~ E R T E ~~ was considered
one of the most famous designers in
fashion, theater, opera, ballet, film, and fine art.

" E R T E " is taken from the french pronunciation of the
initials of his name ~~ Romain de Tirtoff ~~
E R = "R" ~ T E = "T"

Born in Russia in the year 1892 and at
the age of nineteen, he moved to Paris to pursue
a career in the arts.

I have found some examples of ~ E R T E's ~ more popular works and have tried to make a nice place for these pieces of art to be appreciated by those of you that find this type of art interesting.

In 1990, after 80 years in the 'business', *E R T E* passed away at the age of 98 years young leaving a sad loss in this wonderful world of ART DECO.
