Zahdé's"Instant" Chili

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with salt, pepper, and other spices.
  2. Add the onions and green pepper and cook until the meat is cooked through and onions are translucent.
  3. Then add the garlic, tomatoes, beans, and corn.
  4. Bring to a simmer, add more water as needed.
  5. Simmer until thoroughly heated and serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, corn bread or crackers.

Theory of the Dish

For me Chili is ground beef, tomatoes, green bell pepper, beans, onions, garlic, and spices. Usually the only things I don't have right on hand are the bell pepper and beans. It's just a Mexican beef stew.
