Lime Jello Marshmallow Cottage Cheese Surprise
Inspired by the inspiration for the song by William Bolcom
Ingredients
- 1 sm. pkg. lime Jello
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. marshmallows
- 1 c. cabbage, shredded
- 1 c. apples, diced
- 1 c. celery, diced
- 1 c. crushed pineapple (drained)
- 1 c. walnuts, cut up
- 1/4 c. (1 sm can)(2.5 oz)(64g) black olives, sliced
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Instructions
Mix Jello with boiling water until dissolved, add marshmallows and stir until they dissolve, set aside and allow to set slightly.
Add cabbage, apples, celery, pineapple, nuts, olives, mayonnaise, and cottage cheese.
Fold in whipped cream, pour into mold, and refrigerate until set, over night is best.
