Cream Cheese and Shrimp Cocktail
Ingredients
- 1 can Small Shrimp
- 1 jar Cocktail Sauce
- 1 pkg. (8oz.) Cream Cheese
- 1 box Original Triscuits
Instructions
- Drain the shrimp
- Mix the shrimp with the cocktail sauce
- Arrange the cream cheese on plate
- Pour the shrimp and cocktail sauce mixture over the cream cheese
- Serve with a basket of Triscuits and a butter knife
Theory of the Dish
I got this recipe from my friend Sammie.
This is basically Shrimp Cocktail with cream cheese, but the canned shrimp makes it less expensive.
If you want to be fancy, you can use cooked peeled cocktail shrimp, put some cream cheese and one shrimp on each Triscuit with a dab of cocktail sauce, and serve as hors d'oeuvres
