Teriyaki Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/4 c tamari (high quality soy sauce)
- 1/4 c sake or dry white sherry
- 2 Tbsp mild honey
- 1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger (or 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or put through a press)
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard
Instructions
Mix everything together.
Theory of the Dish
I got this recipe from "Fast Vegetarian Feasts" by Martha Rose Shulman. This is a great marinade for sliced extra firm silken tofu. Just marinate the tofu in the sauce and eat it.
