Miroku is
a priest whose powers lie in the hole in his hand - a
hole that can suck anything within its range into
nothingness. This si a curse passed down from generation
to generation in his family, and is said to be caused by
a weird happening in his ancestor's life. (Ah the poison
of Eve's apple is truly timeless!) Nevertheless, he is very genki, double that whenever he's with a beautiful girl, triple that when he scores one over her. Despite of him being a "holy man". he still seizes every opportunity to ask every girl he meets if she can be the mother of his child. Everyone but Sango, that is. Anyway, his other powers include his incantation cards and his staff (which he often uses on Inu Yasha. How doggie boy survives it without internal brain hemorrage is anyone's guess.) Syao Talk > Ok, I admit. My first love in Inu Yasha was, of course, Inu Yasha. But as I get more into watching that anime, I noticed that Miroku is a LOT cuter than him. (The earrings clinched it for me!) Oh, don't get me wrong. I still like Inu, but I like the priest more now. > How he never loses his temper or his cool in tough battles, plus his humor, are his personality wows to me. > Costume is appropriate..he even kinda reminds me of Chichiri! > I dunno about his original Japanese dubbing, but in Filipino, his voice is a dream! So sexy..so..so..Miroku. |
