W H Y T H E M ?

Here are my top ten reasons why I think they are a perfect couple :

9. It's always them that has a scene together!

8. It's obvious that Sango is the only one who doesn't fall for Miroku's dangerous flirtations hook, line and sinker that easily. So when she blushes, then it must mean Miroku's serious.

7. Whenever Miroku's naughty hands are in the mood to grope..uh..something, why does he always picks on Sango? Why not Kagome? OK, so Inu Yasha's wrath is enough to make him think twice, but still...

6. Opposites attract. Law of Magnetism. Miroku's a cool, calm monk and Sango's a hot-tempered, careless youkai hunter. See? Even Physics agree with me!

5. Whenever one of them gets hurt, it's the other one who takes care of him / her. Now that's romantic!

4. Miroku never asked her to bear his child, simply because he has no intention of toying with her. He respects her too much. I find that romantic too.

3. Sango allowed him to touch the remains of her father's armor in episode 49..something really important to her. That must mean something. ( I'm sure that if it was Kagome or worse, Inu Yasha that asked if they can move the armor, she wouldn't let them.) On the other hand, Miroku must have felt the pain Sango was feeling, so instead of offering condolences like Kagome did, he offered to find a more decent burial place for the bodies where they could offer prayers. He knew that would bring her more solace. ( R E A D : INTIMATE BOND ) or how else will Miroku know just what to do?

2. Miroku is obviously fond of her ( reflected in Episode 56 quote : "More than any other girl, having you worry about me makes me happiest.") and Sango cares for him in a quiet way. Kawaii!

1. The ultimate reason : destiny dictates it. Period.
