    Since Meteor Garden has rocked Asia, spawning the F4 mania, it sets off some aftershock-gossip, controversies about these to-die-for guys. bearing the brunt of these main man Yen Cheng Xu.

    Capricorn-born Yen Cheng Xu, popularly known as Jerry, is getting most of the attention not only because he looks gorgeous but also because he plays a big role as leader of F4 and as the love of the female llead.

    Legions of fans obsess about him - his favorites, his lovelife, his whereabouts and all that stuff. But curious and naughty fans also have one big question in mind-given his good clean-cut look, buff body and oftentimes rather soft acting, is this cutie star gay?

    Originally a model in many Asian commercials and a star of another drama series, Jerry first caught the eye of Meteor Garden producers when his photo was published with a news story. After an initial meeting, he was cast as Dao Ming Shi, the leader of F4.

    The search for the lead wasn't easy. For months the producers searched the schools, restaurants, bars, clubs, and other teen hangouts for the dude who'd play the drama lead.

    So, why do people think Jerry is rather effeminate?

    One, he loves dancing, according to one doubting fan. he is vain and he loves wearing sunglasses of different types -as if wanting to shield his true person from public scrutiny. He's also a natty dresser, and apparently has elegant taste. Jerry loves black. He's also so diet-conscious.

    Since he' so popular, fans across Asia obviously make him fall under a stereotype- if he's a beauty and so chic, could he be gay?
