8 August 2003 Vic on Wei Lun Hsu

A while ago, there were rumors saying that Vic and Ken both "liked" Wei Lun Hsu, once the rumor got out, Ken was a bit unhappy, but Vic did not seem affected by this. According to the crew workers of "Smell of Love" ,Wei Lun's new series, Vic appeared as many as 3 times to visit Wei Lun on set, showing that the two had developped a good friendship.

Ken, Vic and Wei Lun met because of their drama "Love Typhoon", the crew workers revealed that Vic would sometimes stare at Wei Lun in a daze, the two of the also frequently go out together to sing KTV. Wei Lun says that their relationship is that of a brother-sister, and no love sparks will come out of it, her relationship with her boyfriend LiWei is very steady, and the Penny link, Ambrose Hse and Lin You Wei "incident" will definitely not occur. Vic also stated that young people hanging out together isn't something out of the norm.

To hang out together because they worked together on the same drama is normal, but having Vic who has a busy schedule, to take time out to visit Wei Lun is not. Crew workers said that Vic would sit on the side watching Wei Lun film, or he would talk to her manager, although he keeps a low profile, it doesn't prevent people from taking notice of him.

According to the reporers, Vic secretly revealed to his friends that he like Wei Lun very much; but since she already has a boyfriend, and they're relationship is very strong, all he can do is care for her secretly. The explanation for constantly visiting her on set is because "I want to encourage her and give her support, Taiwan people will absolutely not lose to Korean people (refering to the main character of the movie)" Vic also revealed to a friend that he does not have many friends in the entertainment circle, and he finds that Wei Lun is very honest and down to earth.- submitted by Red

4 August 2003 Zai Zai Will Go to HK

Pepsi planned to make a meet n greet session between fans and their idols, so that fans will get closer with their idols, just like last year Pepsi Blue Touch Party. According to the plan, ZZ will go to HK on 13th September, while Jerry will go to Guang Zhou with Jay Chou on 1st November and go to Beijing on 15th November. The tickets will not be sold publically, but they will be distributed through Pepsi’s various distributors.- contributed by Red

30 July 2003 A Simple Wish

Many of you know him better as Hua Ze Lei, the quiet loner from the hit tsinovela "Meteor Garden" and may even recognize him as the youngest, shyest and most serious member of F4, Asia's most phenomenal boy band.

More than that, Vic Zhou is also the first to try life on his own, with his own soap opera entitled The Poor Prince and his debut solo album, "Make A Wish."

Vic admitted that he faced a tremendous amount of pressure when we made the album. Last year he was singing together with the other members of F4, but this time around, he had to do all the singing on his own.

Under enormous pressure from both fans and final exams for school, Vic worked day and night recording this album, but he persisted, baggy eyes from lack of sleep and all.

A mechanical engineering student, Vic merely accompanied a friend of his to the auditions for "Meteor Garden" and was instead the one asked to join the series. He persevered in his studies, though, and spent a lot of time balancing the series (whose second season was shot in Spain), his new recording career both with F4 and as a solo artist, and his studies at once.

While admittedly having problems pronouncing the Mandarin sounds "an" and "ang" clearly, he overcame a minor difficulty and succeeded in producing 10 tracks on this album that are sure to prove that Vic is more than just a pretty face. This is the case whether you're listening to a touching song like "Make a Wish" or "Love Loves You," or more up-beat songs like "Hotline for Help" or "Loving You."

The songs in "Make A Wish" are some of the most comforting, easy listening songs that are at times gentle and persuasive, other times sad and poignant.

The emotions in this album span the complex personality traits of Vic Zhou himself. The entire album is wrapped in a dreamlike quality, as deep and compelling as the mystery in Vic's eyes.

This success of his doesn't mean that he has separated from F4 forever; breaking up the band is the farthest idea from everyone's minds. All members have solo projects lined up, each member is coming out with his own solo album and though they may be doing their own movies, they are simply trying out other projects before going back to the studio to record as F4 again.

The ties between Vic, Vanness Wu, Ken Zhu and Jerry Yan are so strong that although each were extremely busy with their own commitments, they made a point to show up at Vic's album launch to show him their support. At the moment, Vic and Ken are busy filming "Love Tornado," a series involving the two in a love triangle with Vivian Hsu.

Despite this early success in life, Vic insists that he is just a simple man. When asked to "make a wish," Vic has a very simple one: he only hopes to pass his finals with flying colors. A simple man with a simple wish.- contributed by Red

26 July 2003 Zai Zai Works with Jin Yanling

ZZ make use of the school vacation to rush the shooting of Love Storm and was shooting a drunk scene in a Taipei bar with Ken but the one who was drunk was the lady boss of the bar, Jin Yanling. She was a winner of a Golden Horse actress and promised Caijie to guest star in the drama. ZZ & Ken roles were the regulars patrons of the bar.

To ensure the the scene looks real, Jin Yanling knocked her head against the bar counter continuously twice until her forehead was swollen and red. Upon seeing that, ZZ quickly asked his assistance to buy some medicine for her. With this kind of taking care of his peers attitude, really deserved everyone to date on him! When the other scene started which Yanling will be drunk on the streets and ZZ came over to help her but Yanling acted too real and just let go of her whole weight and her whole person fell sitting on the ground because it caught ZZ unaware.

ZZ was busy trying to make it up to her but little to know that the more he tried, the more mistakes he made cause he stepped on the open toes of Yanling but she didn't make a noise cause the camera was still on but continued to act but after the CUT was called out, she jokingly scolded ZZ [You almost cause my death lah@!!!] Jin Yanling later said that although she has been living in England all these while but has heard of the charms of F4 long time ago.- Translated by Anne of F4 Heaven.

Pepsi will start preparing for countrywide [Pepsi megastars secret meeting session] plan so that fans will be able to meet their idols in close proximity.

Being a car nut, Zai Zai is dying for his own set of wheels, and is eyeing a BMW in particular. And when Zai Zai celebrated his birthday on Monday, he was presented with 2 'cars'. Unfortunately, neither of them were road-worthy. One was a huge birhtday cake shaped like a car, while the other was a model of an antique BMW - A present from his manager, Angie Chai. Although mightly pleased with his haul, Zai Zai said, "These cars can't go on the road. I prefer those that can work for real." 22 May 2003 Zai Zai has a Flu

ZZ caught a flu because of Vivien Hsu, Hua Shi's [Kuang Ai] recently went to Yang Ming Shan for outdoor filming, the scene which ZZ was riding a bike with Vivien on the way to meet a client and such a coincidence there was a heavy downpour at Yang Ming Shan and both of them became Lou Tang Ji, on top of that the little puppy was very incorperative, the scene which it will bite a shoe has to shoot for the whole day because of that. Vivien & ZZ both [Gao Xiao Er Ren Zu] kept laughing and once ZZ reached home, he realised that he already caught a slight flu. 19 May 2003 Zai Zai's Bad Habit

During the photo shoot sessions for their new drama series Love Tornado, Ken happily divulged Zai Zai's bad habit. According to Ken, Zaizai has developed this bad tendency to touch other people's waist or thigh. This habit has been with him ever since they started filming MG1. During the photo session, Ken took the opportunity to jokingly scolding Zaizai not to touch his thigh.-Midorijade

13 May 2003 Zai Zai's Pronunciation Improves

Reacting to critism of them lip-synching, F4's manager said that the contents of the music review and fans, all these people have the rights to make suggestions and all these are valuable pointers to take into consideration and also to improve. F4's live singing was actually designed and planned. Extraordinary performance may be the reasons for those misunderstandings of lip-synching

In actual fact, F4 has already improved tremendously and ZZ is the most obvious in his improvment. He is on track in releasing his 2nd solo album. His pronounciation has improved and has earned full praises from the producer.

When recording the first album, because of his bad pronounciation thus the process of recording was prolonged and he had a real bad time recording those songs but this time, ZZ has already attended a course to correct his pronounciation and on top of that he has worked real hard and the end result of the whole recording was very smooth.

Besides, Ken has recently his narrative services to National Geographics channel programe [Taiwan Da Di]. As this programe will be shown worldwide, this will aid in Ken's popularity thus he was very happy even his didn't get any money out of that.- Anne of F4 Heaven.

13 May 2003 More Info. on SARS Scare

The other day there was a teacher at Vic's school that was suspected of having SARS. The school ended up having to close down until further notice. Vic's filming times had been changed to fit his school times and now all the times had to be changed once again as one of the crew members had servere temperature. Once again Vic's work has been attacked by SARS and he now has no school or filming!

Vic's good friend Ken was much more scared about this news. After going to ShangHai to do his filming he had already locked himself away from everyone else for 10 days and worn a mask to work. Even when Vanness or Vic phoned him to come out he never did, as he didn't want to bring harm to the others. Both Ken and Vic are in this series and they were very worried about the crew member. They breathed a sigh of relief after they knew that this person was ok and their temeperature was back to normal.

As Vic doesn't have school or filming to do and so he spent a very happy mothers day with Zhou ma ma, whilst Ken spent his day with his 2 most loved cats. Both Vic and Ken wish that SARS will go quickly letting everyone have a very happy mothers day.

Vanness' rumour girlfriend Vivian has hurt herself whilst filming the series with Vic. She was filming a scene where she had to walk in the streets and she fell onto the muddy floor. After she saw the doctor she is now resting at home.

Although the filming of this series has been through quite a lot of problems all the main characters have got on very well and become very good friends. As Vivian stays in Japan most of her time, so her mandarin isn't that good (reminds you of Vanness?! haha). She called Ken's chinese name (Xiao Tian) into 'laughing sky'!!! 13 May 2003 Zai Zai Does Not Have SARS

With SARS invading Taiwan showbiz, a member of filming crew of Love Typhoon is down with high fever. He has received notification from the company to undergo quarantine at home. As safety precaution, filming would be stopped for a week.

Since SARS started attacking Taiwan, the filming crews have to wear masks at work, but the actors are not able to do the same during filming. Under his mother's instruction, Vic keeps a mask with him all the time. Being playful, Vic would wear his mask and go around asking the crew to guess who he is.

Ken on the other hand, is very anxious as he has gone to Shanghai for filming and has quarantined himself for 10 days upon his return to Taiwan. He even declined when Vic & Vanness asked him out.

Vic who does not have to go to school or filming at present remains at home for self-quarantine. He would be spending Mother's Day with his mom this weekend, whilst Ken would have his two cats for company. - Mijorijade

13 May 2003 Zai Zai's 2nd Album

Zaizai 2nd solo album is already in the midst of production due to the popularity of his first album.

Zaizai who has been recording his 2nd album, has recorded 5 new songs. He made use of the time between school break before filming the new serial to record some of the songs for his new album.

The producer praised Zaizai by saying that his singing has improved as they do not have to do a lot of correction on his pronounciation. Obviously the pronounciation classes he has been attending are useful after all.

2 May 2003 The Power of Three!

Yesterday, Vivian, Zaizai & Ken went for the costume-fitting session for CTS new 8pm slot <Kuang Ai Long Juan Feng>. The pink-clad Vivian looks absolutely barbie doll-like, she said with her eyes wide open: "If I like a guy, I'll purposely appear in front of him every now & then, to remind him of my existence." As for Zaizai, he revealed that his way of 'electrifying' girls is to "make his eyes big & round so that he looks pitiful", he said laughingly: "This method really works!" Whereas, Ken expressed that the method he'll undertake will depend on the character of the girl he fancies. The 3 of them graciously revealed their ways of 'electrifying' the opposite sex, and the final revelation is - Zaizai's "electrocution" level is the highest & the most effective!

In <Kuang Ai>, Vivian will abandon her stature & chase after Zaizai, whereas Ken will be secretly in love with her. Speaking of "girl chasing guy", Ken expressed: "Before I became an artiste, there was once when I ferried a girl on my motorbike, she actually held fast to my waist, absolutely refusing to let go, and her hands even kept moving downwards till 3 inches below my navel! I got so scared that I immediately braked & asked her to stop it, otherwise we may crash if not careful. Ever since that incident, I don't dare to ferry others so easily anymore!"

Zaizai's character is more of the straightforward kind, when met with girls who take the initiative, he'll usually reject them once & for all, absolutely not giving them any chance to get near him. At yesterday's press conference, the rumour-bound Vivian emphasized: "I'm good friends with both F4 & Jay, I feel that Jay is a music genius, and he's also very humorous, because the things he laughs at are forever different from other people; Vanness is very yang2 guang1 & he's always very happy too, & he's forever moving about, never seem to need to rest; Zaizai is a car racer, very sweet & easygoing, because the first time we met, he started asking me alot about japanese cars; I don't know Jerry, but I feel that he's like a character out of anime, and he & Nicky Wu are very alike." 2 May 2003 Vic's Secret Admirer

Vic revealed that he had his 1st kiss during his primary school days ! There were many girls who were going after him ! Although he is a ‘lady – killer’ in his school, the thing that touched him the most is a girl who was his classmate. She would prepare breakfast for him every morning ! If it was not ‘bao’ and soy bean milk, it’ll sure to be a cup of hot tea and sandwich. Until last valentine, he still received a bar of chocolate from THAT girl.

Vic, who is very touched, is curious to know who that girl is. Unfortunately, lately the girl seemed to be missing-in-action.

Vic admits that he is not good at making friends with girls. But he is still able to capture many female fans’ hearts with his sweet and innocent face. 27 April 2003 News on Zai Zai's Drama

Lately Vivian Hsu will be working with Vic in their new drama, "Kuang Ai Long Juan Feng" and Vic actually break his usual style and will be acting as a gangster and will be doing his image soon. This is a great change for a obedient look Vic. The drama will be filmed in April and this time Ken added in to the show and start a triangle love relationship. Knowing that Vic is going to be a gangster in the drama, his manager consider for a long period then finally agree as she is worried that this might ruin Vic's image. However in the drama, Vic quit as a gangster not long after the drama start and change his job to a sales person. Vivian Hsu, in the drama actually admired Vic secretly and even started wooing Vic. Vic used to give people a image that he is a very obedient person but after he gone solo from F4, he is going to change his image. In his new drama, Kuang Ai Long Juan Feng, he will have a very cool character and will be crazily chased by Vivian Hsu. This is a drama produced by Cai jie and she set a cool image for Vic in this drama and this is a big challenge for Vic. Lately, other than studies, Vic is very hardworking and often take out the drama scripts to read so that he can start to work his way out to act well. However the drama crew revealed that the fans need not be worried because Vic will quit as gangster at the beginning of the show. Acting with Vic is his best pal, Ken and Vivian Hsu. Vivian is supposed to admired Vic for a long time and finally picked up her courage to go after Vic but whenever she faced Vic, something bad will happened to her. 16 April 2003 Concerning Leslie Cheung

Zai Zai,Daniel Wu and Nicholas Tse: Concerning the sudden death of Leslie Cheung, there is only one phrase that stands out in their hearts, "No one can ever replace you!". Since Leslie Cheung's death there have been questions arising about who will step up into his shoes. Yesterday, Mainland China's [Youth of Beijing] came up with a poll entitled [Who will step into Leslie's place?]. The people of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan were all invited to vote in the poll. The rules were that all those nominated had to have a certain amount of Leslie in them: they had to be good-looking, have many faces (depressed, crazy and funny to name a few) and they had to be willing to take on ambitious roles. As a result of the poll, three major names came up, one of them being F4's Zai Zai Vic Chou. Adored by millions, Zai Zai earned his place amongst the top three from his role in Meteor Garden as Hua Zhe Lei. Even thought he is still a student Zai Zai has been welcomed readily into the entertainment circle and is seen as a gentle and cute guy with many attributes that touches the hearts of many young girls. As to being voted one of the tope three to replace Leslie in the future, Zai Zai was a bit surpised, but thanked all of his fans for their support. Leslie was one of the many people that he admired and Zai Zai was upset when he heard of his sudden death. A few weeks ago on 08/03/03 they were both guest performers at the Pepsi Charity concert in Hong Kong but it was a shame that they never had a chance to work together. However, Zai Zai very honestly said that he didn't want to be anyone's 'replacement' and that no one could ever possibly replace Leslie anyway. But, he also said that he would learn from Leslie's hardworking attitude to work and take Leslie on as a role model. The second person to be voted as Leslie's replacement, was Daniel Wu. The both of them have a lot in common, in that Daniel presents a goodlooking body, they both have ideals for movies and they like to try out different roles - they even do not mind playing homosexual roles. Daniel played a gay man in the movie [Teenage Romance] as did Leslie in [Chun Gong Jok Seet - dunno how to translate] with Tony Leung. They both had the same idea - as long as it was good for the film, they didn't care how it affected their image/status. The final person to be thought of as Leslie's replacement is Nicholas Tse who has only just made a return back to the entertainment circle.Like Leslie the has a sense of rebellion about him and has a moody expression about him. 27 March 2003 Zai Zai Back To School

Last year because of missing too many lessons and wasn't able to get promoted to 2nd year's Vic beginning of this year again had rumors about school thinking of forbidding him from taking his exams. Vic's school work has been a worry issue and F4 is also being transferred from Comic's manager to FULONG's manager. Their new manager has even announced that they will consider Vic's school schedules to avoid him being absent from his lessons too much and thus affecting his studies, if he didn't get promoted to 2nd year he'll have to be enlisted to the army.

After their world concerts, Vic will only start shooting for his new drama [Kuang Ai Long Zuan Feng] in April. Currently his company has not arranged any new schedules for him thus he's able to return to his full time student days. Due to F4's world concert tour which lead to him missing too many lessons in his last school term, he has 2 subjects which was forbidded to sit for his exams for this 2 exams by his school thus the next term he has to work doubly hard to chase his marks.

Last Sunday, March 23 Vic arrived in school punctually at 10am dressed in very casual clothes wearing dark green sweater with jeans looking very fresh and was joking with his teacher along the way and greeting his classmates. His company has originally wanted to arrange to have a bao mu accompany him to school but he rejected cause he wants to be a normal student thus when he goes to school, he is without make-up or wear sunglasses and even his movements are also very low-profile.

The only flashy thing about him is his beloved dark blue BMW. Although he drives to school but he still has to walk a long distance from the carpark to his computer class in the Maths' building on the 4th floor which normally takes him about 15 mins. He will choose to sit in the last row in the classroom to avoid attention cause if he's tired he can still sleep for a bit.....

Vic's classmates told reporters that Vic's relationship with others are not bad and didn't have any airs but if anyone asked for his signature or taking pics together, he'll always politely turn them down reason being that his company does not allowed but he doesn't mind to shake hands and chat with his classmates. 13 February 2003 Zai Zai= All Pass

Zai Zai's last semester results are out, ALL PASS! Manager Cai Xiao Qian yesterday made the public announcement that Zaizai passed all the 3 subjects he chosen to study. He also wants to more subjects, at least 5 subjects, in the statement. The teachers and classmates are all very nice to him, studying has become a easy chore for him.

Rumours had it that Zaizai was barred from taking the year end exams, and he has to leave school again. And from the school, they have put up student results on the web, and states that students can chose to leave school, transfer to another school. However, they state that they have not receive any applications for withdrawal from Zaizai yet.

Cai Xiao Qian states that, after withdrawing from school once, his attitude towards studying have changed. All his holidays and work schedule are under control, unless leave from school was applied, all the attendance to classes are full. About all the rumours, Cai Xiao Qian express that it's all F3's fault, making lame jokes, causing all the rumours to arise.

This year's lunar new year, Zai Zai also change a new hairstyle. Hairsylist, Sandy made him "prettier". New TV series female lead, Xu Rou Xuan will come back to TW for lunar new year. The two may meet and talk abt the new show "Love's Tornado" - jerryfan83

13 February 2003 Zai Zai Uses Old Tricks

"Ai Zai Ai Ni, Zai Zai Ai Ni, Cong Wo Meng Xiang Yu De Na Tian Qi..." ("Loving You, Zai Zai loves you, from the day we met..." the song in Zai Zai's solo album.) ZaiZai Vic Chou used his old trick and still see the same results!

When ZaiZai sang the song "Ai Zai Ai Ni", he always like to change the lyrics from "Ai Zai Ai Ni" to "Zai Zai Ai Ni". Thus whenever he does this, he will win the applause from fans and endless screams!

He also knows how to capture the hearts of fans as well. Besides singing "Zhui Te Bie De Chun Zai"(The most special prescene), "Make A Wish", "Ai Zai Ai Ni" etc songs from his solo album, he also kept to his Prince Charming image, wearing his long coat on stage and singing his love songs with such feelings.

29 January 2003 Zai Zai Passes All Exams

Zaizai's exam results are out and he has managed to get all pass! Jin Ji ren Cai Xiaoqian confirmed yesterday that Zaizai last term's exams result were released and he managed to pass and next term's subjects choice are also given to him. Zaizai has to take more lessons and have to be 5 subjects above, his classmates & teacher has been treating him very well and very helpful. 19 January 2003 Zai Zai Nets NT$1.0

Right after Jerry, another F4 member ZAIZAI has a chance to be the spokesman of a bike, currently busy with their world tour concerts but after that he will make use of the free slots to shoot a very expensive commercial, actually there are many manufacturers eyeing to have F4 to act as their spokesman, in negotiation now there are about 10 commercials. ZAIZAI will follow after Jerry to shoot the bike commericial.

Amongst the four of them, Jerry & ZAIZAI are the favourites of the manufacturers, Zaizai will be shooting a bike & a watch's commericals and the income is the same as Jerry at NT $1 million.

Jerry who was in Macau secretly to shoot his bike's commercial was back in taipei last night, after he finished the commercial in the evening, he was rushed back to the hotel for rest and the scene was left with Jerry's double to wrap it up. In the commercial the scene which Jerry was riding the bike with a female model was finished on the first day, yesterday was only doing so touch ups of the loving scenes (i think is kissing), they have arranged for a double to do that scene with the model while Jerry was back in hotel to take a rest.

The night before when Jerry and the crews were prepared to go and try the food in Macau but outside the hotel there were too many fans and reporters which were so choatic thus he was not able to go out and can only asked the crews to buy back 10 over boxes of almond cookies for his friends for him.

Eversince the news of Jerry was in Macau was out, H.K. side hopes to invite him to attend last night's awards ceremony but as the previous awards in H.K. were only represented by F4 and to avoid any unpleasantness, it was still F2 which ZAIZAI & Vanness were the representative to attend the TOP TEN POP MUSIC AWARDS.

Earlier there were rumors that F4 and other Taiwanese artistes have to come out their own money to attend the CHANNEL V AWARDS in Shanghai thus many Taiwanese artistes are not attending but ZAIZAI will be the representative of F4 again to prove that they are not boycotting the award ceremony.- Anne of F4 Heaven.

F4 will send representatives to H.K. for [H.K. Taiwan Top Ten Chinese Pop Songs Awards]. F4 already confirmed getting the award [Most Popular Group] whereas ZAIZAI will be winning [Most Aspiring Male Newcomer Award], thus ZAIZAI is confirmed going to attend, as to the other one who will attend with him will either be Ken or Vanness.- Anne of F4 Heaven

F4 will not split up in year 2003, this prediction is done by 3 Astroglers making daring predictions for artistes. This programme wll be starting to air on tv starting the 4th day of Chinese New Year.
