From the age of eight the Collie has been a part of my life. For over 30 Years, from England to Australia, each individual Collie has had a special place in my heart. As a family we showed Collies for a limited time in England before moving to Australia where I purchased my own Collie to show, 'Simone', Belvoir Sweet Repose. Taking a break from the showring for a few years, I concentrated on obedience with my loyal Collies and one German Shepherd. On returning to the show ring I was joined by 'Lacey', Ivydale Fantasy followed by 'Shelley', Australian Champion Kazjs Nordic Ice Maiden who went on to become the foundation bitch for my SHELYKA Kennels. Shelley's lines are echoed in the superbly structured, sound moving Collies that I have bred over the past years.

My kennels are situated on a small acreage in the beautiful Upper Hunter Valley of N.S.W where I have lived with my husband and three children for eleven years. I am a member & registered breeder with the RNSWCC & a member of the Collie Club of N.S.W. I abide by the clubs Code of Ethics and support the clubs in their promotion of a healthy sound breed.

My Collies are part of the family and are raised in a loving, caring & protective environment. They are free to run across our acreage, exercising within secure fencing ensuring they keep fit & healthy. All my Collies are socialised from a very tender age making them confident & outgoing dogs, this carries through into the show ring and into their new homes. When placing any of my puppies each prospective new owner is screened very carefully, ensuring the right puppy is placed with the right family.

My Collies are bred on a very limited basis ensuring QUALITY not quantity.

Within my breeding program I am endeavouring to improve my breed, producing Collies that are sound, healthy, have excellent temperaments and display correct and graceful movement. All of my Collies are eye tested.

Whether they're digging holes, chewing slippers or just laying by my feet these wonderful Collies are here to stay.
