从KUiTTHO 的土木工程欲转去马大的土木工程

Hi, i m a student from KOLEJ UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI TUN HUSSEIN ONN (KUiTTHO). I m taking the IJAZAH SARJANA MUDA KEJURUTERAAN AWAM (5 TAHUN).

For your information, i am a 1st year student and study something like foundation of engineering (in this year). I will finish my 1st year in this coming March.

Here, i would like to ask u some question.

Could i transfer my study from KUiTTHO to UNIVERSITI MALAYA.?
If can, how to apply?
If can't, why?

There is 4 ways suggested to try but do not expect too high on these, and please ask KUiTTHO SKR if not sure !

1. Apply for the UM DEGREE OF SIVIL ENGINEERING using the lastest BPKP form.
You ask and buy the form from Kementerian Pendidikan in KL (Damansara) if you did not buy the BPKP form.
2. Apply for changing University Course
First, you may try to write a formal letter and bring it to UM Engineering Faculty Sivil Engineering Department directly to Dean of the faculty. Let him know you wish to transfer to there.
Then, write another same letter to UM SKR(Seksyen Kemasukan Rekod) for apply of transfering study to UM. (Please continue your study in KUiTTHO before all the above approve) If the above all approve, then you have to write 2 letters for applying to leave KUiTTHO for KUiTTHO SKR and Dean of Sivil Engineering, KUiTTHO.

3. Apply for changing to KUiTTHO Diploma Course
(May delay 1 Sem or Year)
Let the SKR officer in KUiTTHO know that you wish to transfer to Sivil Engineering in University of Malaya and apply to 'Downgrade' your course from DEGREE OF SIVIL ENGINEERING to DIPLOMA OF SIVIL ENGINEERING. If can, do the transfering credit if possible to avoid taking the same paper which have been taken in your degree in first year.
This is because KUiTTHO DIPLOMA OF SIVIL ENGINEERING will be the Special requirement to apply UM DEGREE OF SIVIL ENGINEERING, but your result have to be quite outstanding. (Risk : That is no garranty to ensure that will still be Special requirement to apply UM DEGREE OF SIVIL ENGINEERING next time)

4. Start over to take form 6 STPM and apply later
(Delay 1 year)
