Shadows in Starlight
by
Shannah Biondine
To simply say that I enjoyed Shadows in Starlight would be a gross injustice to the characters brought so vividly to life by Ms. Biondines pen.
|
Shannah Biondine has created a compelling adventure infused with ancient lore and magic; enhanced by an intriguing plot, and rich, believable characterization. One cant help but be caught up in the magical world that is Shadows of Starlight. I look forward to more from Ms. Biondine

Reality's Plaything
by
Will Greenway
Realitys Plaything, by Will Greenway, is an interesting romp into another world, and another mind set. Im reminded of ancient lore and tales told of times long gone, when gods ruled all and cared little about how the game should be played.
|
Realitys Plaything stirs up visions of unseen hands shaping and molding an entire worlds reality on a whim. But whose reality is it?
|
Writing with an artful blending of ancient beliefs, Mr. Greenway weaves a tale filled with magic and adventure. The emotions his pen gifts to his characters makes the reader truly care about their fate.

No More Gooseberry Pie
By Dorothy Thompson
Illustrated by Kym Jones
|
No More Gooseberry Pie is a story that centers around a young peasant boy who absolutely loves gooseberry pie. So much so that he resorts to inventing tall tales when he eats the pies hes not suppose to have.
|
Yet, he soon learns that sometimes things have a way of coming back to challenge you
.
|
No More Gooseberry Pie is a good story, illustrating in a simplistic way, that telling tall tales can indeed have consequences. Children will be entertained by the charming tale and will learn why it is better to tell the truth instead of a lie.

The Death of Jabari
by author Kim Bundy
ISBN 0-595-16024-7
Sheri L. McGathy, Author of Fantasy
The Death of Jabari surprised me with its intriquing and satisfying blend of fantasy and science fiction woven within the story plot. Within its pages two vastly different worlds engage in a fragile dance, each dependent upon the other for its survival.
|
One is a world where magic flowing through the air is commonplace and faith in the gods is unchallenged. The other, a place where ordinary men and women of science have now become the gods.
|
Into the realities of these two worlds Ms. Bundy asks and skillfully answers the question, What do you do when a god is dying?
|
I throughly enjoyed reading The Death of Jabari. Kim Bundy seamlessly merged two of my favorite genres to produce a story that kept me interested until the end. Highly recommended for a rainy afternoon read.

Secrets
Secrets truly do abound within the pages of Elaine Hopper's newest book, Secrets. One can't help but appreciate her talent for introducing each new dilemma in a manner that allows the reader to experience it right along with the characters.
|
Elaine Hopper's perky writing style, coupled with a flair for characterization make Secrets a true pleasure to read.
