Delightful!
Elfen Gold starts out as a classic fairy story, then becomes a complex, multi-faceted epic tale. The characters are completely developed, each with his or her own unique personality, the world is believable and I didn't guess the ending, even when I thought I had it figured out. The fantasy element is strong and complete, with a touching and gentle romantic thread woven throughout. This is an enticing tale for young and old alike. My favorite character of all was Tilly, the flutterbug.

ELFEN GOLD is enchanting, vibrant and entertaining with just the right touch of suspense. The plot and setting were new and refreshing to me. Ms. McGathy's writing flows smoothly from one chapter to the next, holding the reader captive till the last page is turned. I felt like a young girl experiencing my first fairy tale all over again.
Sheri McGathy's vivid imagination shines through. Definitely an author to keep an eye on. ELFEN GOLD is a wonderful way to spend a rainy afternoon!

I found this to be an excellent story. Ra-May and Michall had me rooting for them the whole time. And the other characters where just as interesting. I wouldn't mind reading more about some of them. I would recommend it to all fantasy readers, and would read more by this author.
