WIFE: Dutch periodical ONS VOORGESLACHT, ORGAAN VAN DE ZUID-HOLLANDSE VERENIGING VOOR GENEALOGIE, 1959, pp.28-29; 1960, pp. 22-29 and 1969. Reviewed at FHL Salt Lake City, July 1996. First article (1959) does not name a wife; second in 1960 says "probably Janneke Eeuwouts" and third (1969) cites several notarial records that seem to point to the wife as Willempge Eeuwouts (a sister of Janneke). [There are at least three granddaughters of Willem Ariens named Willemptje, which seems to bear out this theory.]

NOTE: The first ten children listed below are correct as they served as baptism witnesses for children born to Catalijntje Claes v/d Geer. or appear in notarial records. The final three are also probably his children but there are no records available to prove this.
