| A piece of black plexiglas was cut to size of the metal hood extension to sandwich between the solid metal triangle struts and the metal hood cover extension. Total stability is achieved with minimum of weight gain and maximum strength. As well as being sturdy, the overall profile and angles for the whole setup is balanced out. (slanting down from steering to front and slanting back in at the petals) Although looking top heavy, the 4 supporting pilliars are made of solid metal and the 3 wings are made from wood as well planting the rig down into the floor. Weight vs Size vs Stability Ratios are fully balanced. |
