Blasts from the past

These are the couples we grew up watching. Gone, but not forgotten. Some are downright silly, others taught entire generations the concept of unresolved sexual tension.

Emma Peel & John Steed: The Avengers

These two have kept their fans guessing did they or didn't they for more than 30 years. No matter which side you are on, these two set the small screen on fire with their chemistry.

April Dancer & Mark Slade: The Girl from U.N.C.L.E.

The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. & her smooth partner were mod as mod could be as they flirted their way to catching the bad guys.

The Ghost & Mrs. Muir

A doomed love affair if there ever was. He was a ghost, she was a young & beautiful widow. Whether you're a fan of the film or the series, it was a lovely angsty kind of UST.

Batman & Catwoman

Good boy, bad girl. You just knew he was as attracted to her as she to him. Another couple who could never be. Pick your genre, film, television or comic book.

Lois Lane & Superman

We all knew the truth about Superman & just figured that ace reporter Lois Lane was blinded by love. Be it Margot Kidder & Christopher Reeves or Teri Hatcher & Dean Cain we all knew they'd end up together.

Ruben Kincaid & Shirley Partridge

Silly? Sure. But didn't you wonder why Ruben spent so much time at the Partridge house? So did we, & we're pretty sure it wasn't because of the kids or the music.
