FAREWELL

" That fateful day you'll tell me your leavening  me, I'm waiting tearfully  for that day as it may be soon.  You say that its me you only love but she has a stronger hold over you, making myself weak and defenseless, making you the protector.  I'll put on a brave face in pretending, not really caring, but my heart will be crying, as it has done before.  Until that day when I will be standing by your side loving you, holding you, looking into your smiling eyes, but only seeing her reflection.  I wish you both health and happiness for the future together.

You'll never really know that underneath this strong banner of mine that I was the weakest one, needing your guiding hand through life, I can only watch from a distance and think of it may have been.   I will always love you...
