Answer to Game No 6: Division of Elephants

When village chief added his elephant to the brothers' elephants, then they became 18 in number.

So he gave half to the eldest brother, that is  18/2 = 9 elephants
One third was given to the middle brother, that is  18/3 = 6 elephants
And one ninth was given to the youngest brother, that is 18/9 = 2 elephants

And village chief took his own elephant and went home. Everybody was happy.

Answer to Game No 10:  How Many Rupees?

There are only three people here - Ram, his son Shyaam, and Shyaam's son Sundar. So Ram gave 500 rupees to his son Shyaam. Shyaam gave 300 rupees to his son Sundar. So both sons, Shyaam and Sundar, jointly received only 500 rupees from their fathers.
