    Hanumaan Helps Raam in Raam
    Raavan War
    After
Hanumaan had found Seeta, Raam and Sugreev went to invade Raavan and get
Seetaa back from Lankaa. They arrived at sea coast and built the bridge over
100 Yojan wide sea in 3 days time. They came to Lankaa and started fighting
    with Raavan.
Hanumaan Saved Lakshman - One day Meghnaad,
Raavan's son, sent a Power to kill Lakshman. It couldn't kill him but it
made him unconscious. Somebody told that a Vaidya (traditional doctor) named
Sushen lives in Lankaa. If he could come and examine Lakshman. Hanumaan
immediately went in the night and brought him sleeping along with his house.
He examined Lakshman and said - "I need a special herb called Sanjeevanee to
bring him to life. It can be found on Himaalaya. If the herb is not given to
him, he will die by morning." Now who was that fast who could go to
Himaalaya and bring that unknown herb before morning? Hanumaan said - "I
will go and bring that herb, but tell me how I will recognize it?" Sushen
said - "It glows in the dark." Hanumaan immediately flew to bring that herb.
    In the meantime Raavan
knew that Hanumaan has gone to bring herb which will bring Lakshman to life.
He sent a Raakshas to kill him. His plan was that the Raakshas would stop
him on the way and killed him and when he would not be able to take that
herb to the Vaidya, Lakshman would die. Seeing light on the way, Hanumaan
did stop there, and the Raakshas did try to kill him but he killed the
Raakshas and proceeded on his way. When he reached on the mountain where the
herb was growing, he found that many different herbs were glowing. Now hot
to identify that specific herb? He did not want to take a chance, so he
uprooted the mountain itself on which the herb was growing, and took it to
    Vaidya.
Now on the way he flew
over Ayodhyaa, so Bharat saw something glowing through the sky. He thought
that maybe some Raakshas was going to kill his brother, he immediately shot
an arrow at Hanumaan and he fell down on the ground. Then they talked and
Hanumaan introduced himself and told about Lakshman. Bharat got extremely
sad. Although he told him if he sent his army to fight with Raavan but
Hanumaan politely refused and said - "Please let me go as soon as possible,
because if I did not reach there in time, Lakshman will have to go." Bharat
said - "How can you reach there before morning? (he did not know Hanumaan's
powers, that is why he thought like that) Don't worry, You sit on my arrow,
it will take you there within no time." Hanumaan Jee refused this offer also
and came from there in time. Sushen gave some herb to Lakshman and after a
little while Lakshman got up. Everybody was very happy to see him alive and
well. Hanumaan took Sushen back to Lankaa along with his house.
    Hanumaan Saved Raam
and Lakshman - Once Ahiraavan stole
Raam and Lakshman and took them to Lankaa while they were sleeping. He was
doing a Yagya and wanted to offer their sacrifice to Devee. When people did
not find Raam and Lakshman around, they made noise, "Where are are Raam and
Lakshman?" Then somebody told them that Ahiraavan might have taken them for
sacrifice. Hanumaan immediately set to look for the place where Ahiraavan
    took them.
    He reached the place but
there were so many guards around that he could not go there directly. He
took the form of a fly and hid himself in flowers. He reached there assumed
his original form, lifted Raam and Lakshman on his shoulders and brought
them to their camp. Thus he saved their lives. [This is the example
of Hanumaan's great Bhakti (devotion) towards Bhagvaan Raam, and his powers
    he used
    for his Isht Dev Raam.]
