Collecting facts is knowledge and implementing that knowledge is wisdom. Education is the means of of collecting facts and implementing the knowledge. Basically education develops the capacity to differentiate between right and wrong, true and false, good and bad. If it does not do that, then it is useless.

Wisdom is to be able to differentiate between right and wrong.

It is science that tells us that the tomato is a fruit. It is wisdom that keeps us from adding it to a fruit salad.
