DEVIL WOMAN

Many thanks to Julie, Jan and Angie for reading this before it hit the list.

This story takes place a few months after "Bloodbath" and involves the female side of the Marcos family.

There is torture involved along the way.

Here goes:

Chapter One

The cab pulled up in front of the state prison compound, paying the driver for the long journery and asking him to
wait for 30 minutes while she visited with her son. The woman exited the cab and hurried towards the visitor's
entrance trying to get out of the rainy day as quickly as possible. Over the previous months of visiting her son, the
older woman had become used to being searched. At first she had protested at such an invasion but had now
become used to having her bag searched, going through the metal detector and being patted down for any
concealed goods. At long last she could once again see her oldest son, even if it would only be for 30 minutes. She
was lead along the cold corridor to the visiting room and sat at one side of the screened off area, waiting patiently
for her son to be brought to her again.

Simon Marcos was lead from his cell just like all the other visiting times, he was lead along in leg chains and
handcuffs so as not to endanger the staff. They all knew he was a lunatic and a danger, that is why he was in the
maximum security prison, but still the guards took their own percautions. The chains rattled as he was slowly
walked down along the corridors and into the visiting room. Mrs Simone Marcos smiled as her son was seated in
the chair in front of her and waited patiently for the guards to leave them alone.

"Hello son, your dreams will soon become true"

"You have everything arranged?"

"Yes, everything is almost completed. By my next visit to you both detectives will be dead, but not how you
dreamed they would die. Your sisters will take care of their deaths, they have had their own dreams"

"Mother, I dreamed my dream. You said they would live my dream"

"Simon, your sisters want to avenge your imprisonment. Let them deal with the detectives their own way"

Simon was furious his dream was being messed with. "MOTHER, YOU PROMISED ME ........." The prison
guards entered the room and pulled him from his chair as he continued to yell "MY DREAM MOTHER, MY
DREAM, IT HAS TO BE DONE ......"

and the door was slammed closed as he was pulled out of the room.

Mrs Marcos gracefully stood up and pressed the buzzer for the guard to come and open the door. She sighed to
herself as she walked down the long cold corridor knowing that her son would not be pleased with the technique of
death his sisters had in mind, but at least the two men responsible for her son's imprisonment would be dead by the
next month she visited.

Chapter Two

"Come on Starsk, we'll be getting there in darkness if we don't leave now" Hutch was all packed and ready to
leave. Once more counting all his bags, checking to make sure he had not forgotten anything for their week long
fishing holiday. It was only the middle of the week, but they had chosen to go up to the Dobey cabin at Pine Lake a
few days early to relax before Huggy joined them for a weekend of fishing and drinking.

"All right, all right, hold your horses, I'm comin" yelled Starsky as he came hoping out of their bedroom trying to
lace up one sneaker in the process and falling over as he came alongside the bathroom. Hutch could only laugh as
he watched his partner land sideways inside the bathroom door, sneaker in one hand and some quite colorful
language erupting into the air.

"Starsk, how many times do I have to tell you, it is far safer for you to do up your sneakers sitting down than
hopping around like that" Hutch helped his partner up

"Well you were the one in the hurry, you would still be yellin at me if I hadn't have come out of there sooner"
Starsky limped slightly as he made his way to the safety of the sofa to sit down and lace up his sneaker. Hutch
noticed him limping

"Starsk, you okay?"

"Yea fine" looking round he saw all the bags in their living room. "Hutch, do you have to take so much? we're only
going for a few days not movin there permanently"

"Now Starsk, quit moaning. I know you don't want to go back up there, not after last time, but it's only for a few
days. Look we have the cabin all to ourselves for three days before Huggy arrives, then a few days fishing and
then we'll be home. I just want to be prepared that's all"

"Yea, prepared for what might I ask?" Starsky was trying his best to carefully put his foot into his sneaker but the
pain from his ankle caused him to gasp

"You're not all right" Hutch moved over to Starsky, "Hey pal, that ankle is starting to swell"

"It's okay, it's okay" Slowly trying to ease his swelling foot into his sneaker

"No, its not okay buddy, here let me take a look" Hutch carefully took hold of Starsky's left foot and slowly and
carefully removed the red sock. The swelling was slowly growing and as he touched the side of Starsk's foot, his
partner let out another gasp.

"Starsk, I think you've sprained your ankle when you lost your balance there. Let me strap it up for you to support
it"

"It's okay Hutch, really, I don't need no support for it. Just need to get my sneaker on that's all" He tried to move
his foot but the pain shot along to his ankle and he reluctantly sat back. Hutch looked at him with that look as if to
say I told you so. "Okay mister wise guy, just a little strapping so it doesn't feel like its pulling apart when I move
it then"

Hutch smiled as he made his way into their bathroom to get the first aid kit. Coming back out with it he searched
through it finding the strapping tape. "Hey Starsk, remind me when we return to replenish some of the supplies
here, we're getting kind of low on some things" Starsky sat back and waited as his ankle was securely strapped.
"How's that feel now?"

"Great, except I can't move my foot at all. How the hell do you expect me to get my sneaker on now, don't forget
I'm driving?"

"Who said we're taking your car?"

"Come on Hutch, last time we went up there you took your car, got lost trying to find the damn cabin and couldn't
even navigate your way around at night time without running into the trees. I wanna take my car this time"

"There is nothing wrong with my car nor my driving"

"Yea right" mumbled Starsky getting frustrated he would be chaffeur driven around in the squash.

"Just sit back there and let me load the car up and we'll be on the way" Hutch started to gather his bags together
and headed down the stairs with the first load of luggage. Starsky hobbled his way into their bedroom and came
back out with his two bags, Hutch was surprised to see that was all the luggage. "Only two bags, you got enough
clothing for the week?"

"Hutch you did say we had the place to ourselves for the first few days, I just figured we wouldn't be going out
much and would stay........ well you know"

Hutch grinned at his partner, "Perhaps that is why one of us remembered to pack the KY"

"Hey who says I didn't remember?" Starsky asked rather hurt

"Cause I know we only have the two tubes left and I was the one who remembered to pack them" claimed Hutch
as he grabbed the next load of luggage and rushed downstairs with them. Starsky could not reply quick enough as
Hutch hurried out with the last load of luggage, he was soon back upstairs taking Starsky's bags down to the car
along with their fishing rods. Slowly Starsky made his way down the stairs and Hutch helped his friend down the
last few and helped his partner slowly out to the car.

"Hey I thought you wanted to take your car" Starsky was amazed to see the Torino had been loaded up instead.

"Well I decided to compromise, I don't want you sulking for the next 6 days cause you didn't have your striped
tomato with you" Hutch grinned happily as he started to open the drivers door. Starsky stood back.

"As you have compromised, I'll let you drive us then on one condition"

"Yeah and what is that?"

"I do the navigating this time, you take notice of my directions and no arguments"

"Just sit back and relax and enjoy the scenery" Hutch smiled at his partner as he started the engine and
commenced on their drive out to the cabin.

Chapter Three

As they left the city limits, Starsky was still a little apprehensive about heading back to the cabin after their last
visit.

"Hutch, I still don't like the idea of going back up to the lake again"

"Relax Starsk, the weather is great and just think of all the fish you can catch again" Hutch remembering that last
time it was Starsky who had caught all the fish.

"I don't mind the fishin, it's the thought of being in that cabin again after what happened last time."

"Starsk, nothing is going to happen. Look if it makes you feel better I'll go into the cabin first and thoroughly
check the cabin out"

"Thanks Hutch, just look in the fridge first for me okay. I don't want any more surprises like that one, that snake
was a little too close to me for comfort"

The weather had been fine in LA but as they drove nearer to the cabin the rain started to pour down and soon they
were both having regrets of leaving LA.

"Damn, it wasn't supposed to be like this, not at this time of the year" Hutch was cursing the change in weather
and was dreading the thought of unpacking the car in the rain.

"It's getting colder too, Hutch can't we just turn back and have our vacation time back home. I really have a bad
feeling about this vacation"

Hutch was getting a wee bit aggitated by this time "Starsk, would you just shut up and quit worrying. We're almost there"
turning the last corner they were on the road leading up to the cabin and after a few minutes had reached their final destination
for the next six days. Starsky sat patiently in the car and waited while Hutch entered the cabin and switched on the lights, soon
after he was back outside with a wide grin on his face.

"It's safe to go in now, as I told you quit worrying. There are no snakes, no spiders, and look Dobey has even replaced the
front door"

"I still have a bad feeling Hutch"

"Come on, lets get you inside while I start unpacking" Hutch helped his partner out of the car and supported Starsky as best he
could so little weight was put on the sprained ankle.

Starsky was shivering as he sat in the cold cabin watching Hutch bring all the bags inside. After only a few minutes Hutch had
completely unloaded the car and started to stack the wood in the fire place to start a nice warm fire to make them more
comfortable. Soon the fire was raging and Starsky had stopped shivering, Hutch started to cook them a meal when half way
through the lights went out.

"Hutch, you better get those lights back on" Starsky remembered his partner's joke last time with Hutch switching off the lights
and the hooting owl sound.

"Starsk, it wasn't me this time honest" Hutch was trying to find the candles to provide some light and soon came across them in
the lower cupboard.

"Ow shit" as he forgot where the shelf was banging his head as he stood back up again

"Ow shit what?" Starsky was off the sofa and slowly making his way over to the kitchen area. The pain was throbbing at this
ankle with every step he took. "Hutch, you okay?"

"Yea, just great" Hutch lit the candles and rubbed the back of his head where he had banged it. "Starsk, go back and sit down.
You shouldn't be on your feet, that foot needs to be kept elevated if you want the swelling to go down"

"Just making sure you're okay"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Now come on, let's get you back to the sofa" Hutch helped his stubborn partner back to the comfort of the
sofa and the warmth of the fireplace and soon was back in the kitchen finishing the cooking of their meal.

Both of the partners soon enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace as they finished the meat Hutch had cooked. The wind began
howling outside as the storm intensified. The rain was coming down heavier now and the fire was beginning to die. It was time
to retire to the warmth of the bed for the evening.

As they lay there side by side they listened to the pouring rain and the howling of the wind. "Guess we might not be fishing
tomorrow after all"

"Starsk, I think when we wake up tomorrow the sun will be shining and there will be plenty of fish for you to catch" Hutch held
his partner in his arms as both of them drifted off to sleep.

Chapter Four

The morning sun shone into the cabin as Hutch pulled the curtains back, the day was beautiful and clear after the
storm the previous night. Hutch looked back at his sleeping partner.

"Come on sleepy, time to wake up and go fishing" Hutch shook Starsky trying to wake him up. One eye opened
and squinted at the brightness and the blanket was pulled up over his head.

"Starsk, you're missing a perfect fishing day. Up you get"

"Wanta sleep" came the mumble from underneath the blankets. Hutch thought about pulling his partner out of bed
but remembered Starsky's swollen ankle and decided it was best not to pull him out of bed.

"Okay, but you're missing a great day out here" Hutch yelled back as he headed out the door and took a deep
breath of the fresh air up in the mountains. There had been a bit of damage caused by the storm the previous night,
a few tree branches had snapped and Hutch began to gather them up and cut them down to size for the fireplace.
An hour later he went back inside the cabin, to his delight Starsky had decided to get up.

"Hey I thought you said you wanted to sleep in" Hutch joked at him

"Can't sleep with all that damn noise you were making out there. What the hell are you doing chopping firewood at
this hour" Starsky was not happy being kept awake by the sound of the wood being dumped at the back of the
cabin and stacked in the woodpile next to where he was sleeping.

"Quit moaning Gordo, come on I'll make you pancakes for breakfast"

"What about we go into town and get a burrito?"

"Starsk, you can do without your burrito's for a few days. We'll have pancakes and then grab some beer and head
out and fish" Hutch smiled as he watched Starsky try and put his sneakers on. The swelling in his ankle had
increased during the night and there was no way the sneaker was going to fit his left foot.

"Wait Starsk" Hutch quickly went to stop his partner trying to force the sneaker on. "Let's have a look at your
ankle here" Starsky reluctantly sat back as Hutch gently took the red sock off the foot to have a look. "Geeze
Starsk, I think we need to get this looked at" Hutch could hardly ignore the large intense black bruising around the
ankle spreading down over half the foot. "I don't think you have simply sprained it. How does it feel"

"How do you think it feels, sore"

"Why didn't you say something sooner?" Hutch carefully pulled the red sock back over the damaged area

"Cause I know how much you were looking forward to this vacation, I didn't want to ruin it for you" Starsk held his
breath as the sock was going over his ankle.

"Starsk, you shouldn't have worried about this vacation. We could have postponed this weekend, I really think we
should go back and get you to the hospital and get this x-rayed" Hutch was feeling guilty over the vacation now, he
wished he had not been looking forward to it so much.

"Hutch it's no big deal, it's just sore that's all. Hey those pancakes are burning"

"Shit" Hutch raced back to the kitchen to retrieve some rather burnt pancakes.

"I guess we could skip the pancakes anyway and go out on the lake, must be mid morning isn't it?" Starsky looked
forward to drinking down some of the cool beer and catching some fish for their lunch. Hutch placed the burnt
pancakes in the rubbish and left the pan in the sink to soak off the sticky mess left attached to the base. A half
dozen cans of beer were removed from the fridge and the fishing poles grabbed and the tackle.

"I'll just load all this in and then we'll get you out and into the boat" Hutch smiled back at his partner and saw the
wide grin on Starsky's face at the thought of catching the fish again. "Just one thing Starsk"

"Yea, what's that"

"Leave some fish for me to catch this time"

Chapter Five

The two partners sat back in the boat as they waited for the fish to take the bait. The cans of beer were going down
well as the sun shone down onto the lake keeping them warm with the warmth from its rays.

"I've got a bite" Starsky sat back and watched as Hutch hauled in the first fish of the day.

"Thought I would let you have the first bite of the day" Starsky smiled at Hutch seeing the delight in Hutch's face
that at last he had caught a fish from the lake. Hutch unhooked the fish from the line and prepared more bait and
tried again for the next fish.

Over the next few hours the fish had taken their lines another half dozen times and both partners decided to call it
a day and head back into the cabin. The wind was starting to pick up again and the lake became choppy. Hutch was
battling to row back to shore and Starsky was beginning to feel sick, finally they returned to the safety of land.

Hutch helped a rather nauseous Starsky out of the boat and supported his partner as they walked back to the
cabin, it was a slow walk with Starsky barely able to put any weight onto his ankle. Neither of them suspected the
cabin would be entered while they were away but the door was open when the returned.

"I could have sworn I had locked up when we left" Hutch muttered as he helped Starsky up the two steps. Upon
entering the cabin they noticed nothing had been disturbed and Hutch took his partner over to the sofa and gently
helped Starsky place his ankle on the table to keep the limb elevated. After retrieving their catches of the day and
dumping the empty beer cans in the rubbish, Hutch headed to the kitchen to prepare the fish for their evening
meal.

"Damn it"

Starsky looked round trying to see what had caused Hutch angish this time. "What is it?"

"Our food is all gone, someone has damn well taken all the supplies we bought up with us" Hutch walked back
over to the table and took the car keys from where Starsky had placed them. "I'll go into town and get more
supplies, will you be okay here while I'm gone?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Can't get up to much mischief now can I by myself" there was a twinkle in Starsky's eyes and a
huge smile on his face as he thought of the mischief they could get up to later on that evening.

"No you can't. I'll be back in about half an hour"

"I think I'll just sit back here and snooze" there was a large yawn as Starsky laid his head back on the sofa.
"Okay sleepy, see you later then" Hutch wasted no time heading back into town and took no notice of the other
traffic on the road.

Starsky was just starting to dooze off when he was awakened by the sound of the front door being forced open. He
tried to get to his feet quickly and get to his bag as the black clothed figures entered the cabin. His ankle hurt like
hell as he put weight on it, he knew he had to act quickly to defend himself and tried to block the pain out. He only
just managed to get to his gun on the top of his bag and turned round as the intruders came upon him, dragging him
away from the back of the cabin. Starsky tried to struggle, managing to one shot off hitting one of the group as he
heard a cry of pain. He felt the grip go of one of the intruders and saw the figure slump to the ground.

"Where's the other one?, Where is your friend?"

"I'm here by myself" He felt the grip go of one of the intruders however the other three were too strong and he
was pinned down on the sofa. He looked into the eyes of his attackers and thought he was living a horror movie,
the eyes were like cats not like that of humans. He tried to kick free but that attempt was met by a swift blow to his
stomach and the pain shooting up from his ankle reminded him that was not a great idea.

"We know you and your partner came together, where is he?" His arm was held out straight as he remained
pinned down and his sleeve ripped open by the knife he felt the cut on his skin and the wetness as the blood slowly
tricked out, the fabric left on the floor with the blood dripping down onto it.

"His car is not here, his partner must have it" one of the intruders had done a quick look at the back of the cabin
and cursed that the car was gone. Starsky tried to break free of the strong hold as he saw the hypodermic needle
come down onto his arm, he felt the stink as the needle broke through the skin and in a few seconds his struggling
stopped.

"We'll get his partner later then"

"No" starsky murmured as he found he was loosing his strength and could not protest any longer, he was only
aware of being lifted up as he started to drift off into unconsciousness. As he was carried outside the last
movement he was aware of was his stomach emptying itself as he vomitted over the steps.
Chapter Six Hutch soon arrived in town, the residents looking at the red and white Torino as Hutch drove along the main street. The car was very noticeable. Hutch pulled up outside the general store and noticed he only had a few minutes until closing for the day. Quickly he entered the store, grabbed a basket and started going round the small store trying to restock as much as he could from what they had taken from them. As he neared the counter the middle aged man was looking out at the car which was attracting interest from the local residents. "Quite an unusual paint job you have there" Hutch rolled his eyes, that striped tomato was noticed everwhere it went. "Yeah, my friend likes his car painted that color, if it was my car I would have just one color" "You up here on vacation then?" the store owner was busy totalling up all the groceries being purchased. "Yes, we're staying at a friends cabin up near the lake. Was quite some storm you had here last night" "Haven't had a storm like that one for quite some time, some of us were wondering if the new owners of the old mansion were going to be okay. They're a strange lot up there, why anyone would buy that run down old heap I don't know. I went up there to see if they were okay, just a mother and her daughters purchased the property about a month ago. Thought I would check to see if they were okay but everything was fine, they told me not to worry they were actually a bit annoyed I was there. Well at least that is the impression I got from them, strange noises coming from inside that place, I didn't stay any longer" Hutch paid the store owner and gathered up the bags of supplies. "I suppose they might just be trying to settle into their surroundings. Was good of you to check on them though." "Here let me help you with those bags" "Thanks, looks like we could have more rain tonight" Hutch looked up at the blackening sky. "Yep, just hope it doesn't get like last night" the store owner commented as he helped place the shopping in the trunk. "As long as its another good fishing day tomorrow" commented Hutch as he drove away and headed back to the cabin. He passed a black van which was just turning into the drive of the old mansion on his way back. Hutch glanced back at the old run down building which looked as though it would easily fall down in the next big gust of wind. Why the hell anyone wanted to move in there he wondered, it was isolated although was close to the small town. He was soon back at the cabin and started to haul the bags out of the trunk, walking up to the steps he noticed the vomit there and dropped the bags down when he saw the door was ajar. "STARSKY" Hutch raced inside the cabin and saw the furniture had been turned over and there had been a struggle, there was quite a large pool of blood near the back of the cabin and as Hutch frantically righted the furniture looking for his partner he realised Starsky was gone. His heart sank when he came across the sofa and the sleeve of Starsky's red longjohns which had droplets of blood on it. With no phone in the cabin he ran back to the car, the rain had started again for the evening as he started his drive back to the town. Halfway along the journey near the old mansion he noticed a black van travelling towards him, within seconds the van was heading on a direct collison course with him and he tried to take evasive action to avoid the inevitable collision. Hutch managed to steer away from the collison but over corrected the sudden swing and with the slippery roads was in an uncontrolled skid. The Torino came to a crashing halt in amongst the trees to the side of the road, Hutch was out cold, the force of the impact had thrown him like a rag doll in the car and he was slumped in the seat, his head against the door. The black clothing emerged from the van and forced open the damaged car door. Hutch fell to their feet in the shrubbery the blood trickling down the left side of his head. He was soon lifted up and carried away into the darkness of the van.
