Connor...
I feel so blessed that Robin and I both were given the opportunity to raise a boy and a girl. They are both so special
and different as night and day. Connor is a full blooded seven year old boy. He's just like his father, testing the waters
and pushing the limits of just about everything and everyone. He loves the typical boy things like roughing it up, playing
till the sun goes down and eating all the sweets that
he can possibly attain.
Connors favorite sport is basketball. He dreams of
playing in college and the NBA someday. His favorite college team is the
University of Kentucky Wildcats.
His favorite college player is Tayshaun Prince.
His favorite NBA players are Shaq and Kobe. Oh yea, and the Los Angeles
Lakers. Needless to say he chooses
this unstoppable Nintendo team to beat up on his father. As soon
as he gets home from school he is out to shoot around. He knows that he
needs to shoot about 100 shots per day if he wishes to become a great shooter.
Currently, we are working on perfecting his layup and dribbling skills.
He has played the past two years of the local YMCA league.
During games he loves to get rebounds and dribble down court
for his little jump shot. One game he hit about seven shots in a row!
Soccer has to be his next favorite sport to play.
He is so aggressive and loves to dribble downfield toward the goalie.
His preferred position is that of attacker. This will make
his fourth year in a row. He especially likes it when he gets to play
against his old buddies Adam and Reed. Again, he loves to challenge Dad
to a game of Nintendo soccer. Somehow he always manages to beat me like
a drum.
Last
but not least is baseball. He is currently playing his third year of
baseball, the Yankees. He still has a lot to learn about the game but
has all the natural talent that you could possible want. His arm is
strong and he has a lot of power with the bat.
If any athletic recruiters are reading this, I recommend to start sending the letters now while you have a chance ;-
