Lovely She

If only here was lovely she,
hair gently waving as I breathe,
her head at rest upon my breast,
so snuggly huddled in our nest,
of warmth, of love, of passion deep,
for lack of such a time I weep,
these tears that scald my face at night,
can love hurt so and still be right?
unanswered still this question stays,
can't see why life must be this way,
in hatred cupid mine doth rise,
I beg you look into these eyes,
and tell me sorrow you don't feel,
else take this broken heart and heal.
