This is a collection of "Perfect Names" submitted by different people. E-mail me in your ideal names, and you may just see them listed on the site. Thanks!

RPGuy:

I like to name my animals after numbers in English, Spanish, and French(it really helps when it comes to milking and shearing  :OD). I've done this with all of my Harvest Moon games to keep from being confused when milking and caring for my animals. I hope this helps you in deciding a perfect name for that cow or sheep.

AMStaron@aol.com:

"I gave my cows names with the "oo" sound(like in "moo") Their names are Poot, Boodle, and Dooby. My sheep is Bo. All chickens have similar names( Chim, Chib, Chif, Chiv, and Chir)

Machamp 64:

"I name each animal with a different letter each one: Ann, Bob, Corl, Dony, Edna, Gord...

CloudDBZVIII@aol.com:

"I named all of my animals by putting HTML Tags as their names in order you would see them on a page. Cows: HTML, Body, Title Sheep: /Title Chickens: Head, /Head, /Body, /HTML"

blue:

"I don't really have any good names to mention, but I can pass on a valuable piece of information. All cows are female!!!! A male "cow" is called a bull and does not have the ability to produce milk. Therefore, we can assume that all cows in Harvest Moon are girls. I'd advise everyone to think about this before they name their cows Bob, John, etc.

Darth Vader:

The official name of the Farmer is soposed to be Jack. but since I am a Zelda fan, I named him Link. he lives on Lon Lon Ranch and all of the animals have Lon in the name like:      MooLon      BahLon ect... I also use names form Final Fantasy like Cid and Mid my chickens I name after the girls in the game like Ann Karin Maria ect."

Lauren:

"I name all my animals after the Girls in the game. Ann, Maria, Popuri, Elli.

PulutoGrly:

"I name my cows after the months of the year, or the days of the week. My chickens are named numbers. And my sheep are named after colors.. oh andif you're REALLY creative, you can name Azule or Mauve, but then again, how would you like the name"three"?

Lynn:

"I name my animals each with a subject. For example, all my sheep are named after gemstones(Ruby, Jasmine, etc.). All my cows are named after planets and all my chickens have titles(Queen, Princess, Duke). It works real well, plus it's really funny to think about a chicken named Rajah(for all of you who don't know what rajah is, put down the controller and pick up a book!)"

Matt Cherry:

"In Harvest Moon 64, I named all of my cows and sheep with namess that start with L... Ex. Lu, Lo, Lucy, Leia, etc. My chickens are named 1,2,3,4,5,6. This makes it easy to find them."

BGael49@aol.com

"Well, I'm a Star Wars freak, so all my sheep are named like, Vader, Luke, Leia, Han, etc. The cows I just give classic names like, Daisy, Bessie, and the last cow is just named Moo. The chickens, I gave the first one the name Dumbs, then Dumbs2, 3, and so on. Oh the dog, I named Bob, just to be simple, and the horse is named Abe, because he's trustworthy.

Silliersmiles@aol.com

"I named all my chickens with chicken-like names. I only have 4 now, but later I'll have more. Their names: 1. Chicy(as in, like Chic) 2. Henna 3. Cocky 4. Doodle The next one I plan to name Doode.

Chibieve:

"I named all my cows and chickens after modified names of characters from HM64... Ex. Kara, Anne, Mary, Elle, Pori, Gary, Ricky, Stew, Kento, Basel, Lili, Sabar, and Mai.I would also name others(when I ran out of other names) something to do witht he animal. Ex. Milk, MooMoo, Wool, Egg, Hen, etc."
