Living Corpse

The girl looked up at the sky
The demons hissed and tore
The girl - she began to cry
The bright red eyes scared her
The demons flew around
And stuck out their poisoned tongues
Flew to the groud
And when it was done
She was tattered and torn
And when it was done
Her blood, a sea; her body, a shore
They licked her blood off the shore
Brought their rough tongues in their mouths
Death was so damned
Mortals live full of doubt
They think they're immortal
But they are so vain
So cruel, so immoral
So full of pain
I stare at this girl's corpse now
The carrion is rotting away
I knew the girl - I don't know how
But she still got away
And I can't abide
I don't feel any pride
I don't feel obliged
To stay by her side
