The Girl

Yoy say you love the girl
You say she means the world
You say you'd die for her
But would you even cry for her

Can you swallow your fears
Her world drowned through her tears
The blood that covers her face
Shatters illusions innocent as lace

You must be willing to live the curse
Whether it's for better, or for worse
The kitty might start hissing
Or she might start her kissing

She could lick your body all over
Or she might bite you, lover
She might decide to hold you close
She might decide she loves you most

She might plead that you stay
Or she might push you away
She might tell you of her pain
She might show you her shame

You say the girl is sweet
But all you want is a treat
She's fallen for it before
So maybe she'll do it once more

But please, if she lets you in
Don't cut off her last fin
It's all she has to live for, you see
I can see, because the girl is me
