I am very happy to receive SA 63. I could not make out most of the messages as they were blurred. Those in yellow were unreadable. However, I did read the ones in black letters. I hope someday we may be able to celebrate our democracy in good spirits. Right now it is passing through rough weather. Let us pray it soon come on track.

Wishing you all the best,

Thank you very much for your nice email.

By the way, one Prof. of my university is going grant scholarship to a foreign student (male) to do MS in plant tissue culture and molecular biology. …If you recommend one genuine male student, then I will try to apply for him. But, I am not sure about the result. It is better if he has good TOEFL score.

I sincerely hope your research work is going on well.

Bhushan Shrestha,

  • Art makes the poems beautiful, and thought makes them the great!
  • Friends in need, friends indeed.  But such friends are veryvery rare.
  • Love never dies.

5. Shree Sadhak Satyam (SSS):

Be frank with yourself. Be careful, otherwise you will be cheated day after day. It is like the patients who don't know, and refuse to believe that they are ill. We are free to express our inner feelings, our appreciation, and move. As long as we move with the rhythm of the universe and know God all the time, everything we do is perfect. Do everything for your family, your society, for yourselves. Don't wait for people to make your life better and brighter. Make your life yourself. You can do anything. We must always be open and accepting, then we will find our life is terrific, is completely in harmony and beautiful, and is a blessing everyday, twenty-four hours.

7. Joke/s:

Greedy and fraud become hungry forever.

A greedy and fraud man walking around the Mahabouddha.  He saw a Momo shop nearby.  He entered to the shop and saw two gates entitiled one with the vegetarian Momo shop and next non vegetarian Momo shop.

Since he was a non-vegetarian, entered into the gate entitled for such Momo.  Then he saw next two doors, one entitled with big goat Momo shop and next small goat Momo shop.  Big goat mean buffalo. Since he was not a buffalo eater, he entered to the shop where small goat Momo could be taken.  When he entered the Momo shop he again saw two doors.  On one door, it is written that if you want to eat Momo in cash, enter here.  contrary to the door, on next door it is written: If you would like to eat Momo in credit, enter into this door.

As I already mentioned that the man was greedy and fraud, he entered into the second door so he can eat goat Momo without paying a peny. What he has got do you know?

OK guess…..

Guess again…..

He reached to a New road gate, open street.

9. Recall/s:

Dream 1 February 2004.

My wife and I were walking on a highway to Rara Lake of Nepal.  Two consultant friends were accompanied with us.  I guess one is Kiran Upadhyaya or Kishor KC and another is Murari Raj Kaini.  I tried to snap a picture of Rara, but it turned to a big pond.  I was disappointed.  I walked still more to south. I saw a big river with white fountain or fall with a big roaring sound.  I stopped at a shop to drink a cup of tea. My friends did not stop at the shop.  They travel to a trail along forest downward to a plain area where fertile land was seen clearly.  After some time, I followed them.  The trail was wide after short obstacles or narrow part near the ridge, but steep.  On the steep slope, the trail was covered with white marble pebbles or sand.

After some time I reached to a plain area. Many dogs bark on me, but did not bite.  I went to a hut for shelter and to safe myself from the barking dogs.  The hut owner knew me.  A woman gave me a cup of milk to drink.  After some time a man come.  I was surprised to see him there that he was my known old friend, Shiva.  The woman, who gave me to drink a cup of milk, was his wife.  The barking dogs returned to their places. We talked about the development of the place.  After some time my two consultant friends also come there searching to me.  We all become happy then.

The dream turned off.

Dream: 11 February 2004.

A Iron ladder very long.  I went up and come down.  Many people, especially tourists, also there.  I feel it was an excursion.  At the bottom of the ladder, there was a big market of vegetables, fruits and snacks.  I took a heavy plate snacks over there.  In the snacks, the special was fried fish.  After a short, the dream turned off.

I feel that the dreams are not so good to me.  Help friend, if I got sickness.

12. Quiz/es:

What exactly is a nimrod? Should I be offended if someone calls me one?

The American Heritage Dictionary offers two distinct definitions of a nimrod -- either a hunter, or a person regarded as silly or foolish. The dictionary goes on to explain that the second meaning probably originated with the cartoon character Bugs Bunny. The wily Bugs used the term in its original sense to refer to dithering hunter Elmer Fudd, whom he called a "poor little Nimrod." Over time, however, the "hunter" meaning got dropped, and the "dithering" connotation stuck.

Nimrod was in fact a Biblical figure -- the great-grandson of Noah. He was a haughty king who declared himself a "mighty one in the earth," founded the great city of Babylon, and presided over the construction of the mythical Tower of Babel. Nimrod was also a renowned hunter, though at least one source we found claimed his game of choice was not animals but men, whom he would enslave upon capture. Whatever his prey, his name became synonymous with a skilled hunter.

And for the record, the University of Tulsa publishes a well-regarded literary magazine called the Nimrod International Journal of Prose and Poetry. They are actively seeking submissions.
