Safehouse 1
0700 hours

He had caught wind of the foursome over a month ago. He actually didn't think it would take that long to find them. The group had become bolder and bolder, always pushing the limits and escaping concrete identification at the last second. Of course, then the Chechen Premier had been assassinated. All hell broke out as resources were allocated to sort things out…unofficially of course. The shift in labor resulted in some weak spots along secured networks, of which the foursome had taken advantage of.

They should have thought twice about that.

They were traced within 24 hours, identified, categorized, and their files forwarded to the SIA. The foursome was now his problem and soon, would be Alpha Team's problem. Alpha Team. He sighed as he took a long sip of coffee. The shift in personnel was almost complete and it was a good team going out. He did not foresee any problems.

"The weather out there sucks all sorts of ass," Simon said grumpily.

Except that one. He arched an eyebrow at Simon who sat looking at him holding papers in his hand.

"That means bad," he informed Gray.

"Yes, I figured that out for myself, thank you." He dismissed Simon returning to the case file. After a quick glance he gathered everything up and headed out to the conference room. God, it was early in the morning.

The Agents were already there chatting softly and looking as tired as he was. They hadn't been out in a couple weeks, on anything official, he corrected himself. They had been training a lot and basically keeping to themselves. "Seeing we are all here, we'll get started. Alright, this is a simple scoop and swoop," he passed out copies of the case files to them.

"You always say that," Paige said playfully.

He had to smile. "Yes, I know, and I usually mean it." That brought a smile to all of their faces.

"These four individuals have been hacking into various government areas for the past couple months. We got IDs on them two weeks ago and got a confirmed location last night. You'll be heading out to Galice, Oregon and your assignment is to pick them up and bring them in here…alive and unharmed."

The Agents sat there with blank faces. It always irked him the way they could do that.

"They're just kids," Jordan said quietly flipping through their profiles.

"Yes," Gray conceded, "they are young…but they also have broken the law and need to be brought in."

"Seems kind of extreme for breaking…" Paige started then stopped. "Well," she tilted her head, "they're not really going to jail then."

"You're to bring them in unharmed," Gray continued ignoring Paige's comment and the subsequent glances exchanged between the former Section ops. "We have a chopper waiting for you, Simon."

Simon tapped at his keyboard bringing up maps of the area. "We'll be flying into Galice airport, then about a 12 mile drive into Galice. We traced a T1 line that's being piggybacked for juice into a small abandoned building. The only problem we have is the weather there. It's basically a monsoon so it's gonna be a rough ride when we get out there."

"What kind of play do we have with them because they're gonna fight back," Bella asked.

"You're highly trained Agents skilled in various forms of submission, I'm sure you can figure a way to secure four teenagers without doing excessive harm to them."

"Uh huh," Bella nodded her head thoughtfully, "so what kind of play do we have?"

Gray sighed. "No excessive force, no broken bones, no killing, is that clear?"

"Just making sure," she smiled at him, "you never know out there."

"And what if they start doing some…hokus pocus computer…kind of…stuff…things?" Paige asked.

"Simon will be with you in the field." That brought another grin to the women's faces.

"So, basically," Jordan said thoughtfully, "including Simon…we're to babysit five computer geeks?"

"Very funny," Simon snorted back.

"Enough," Gray said. "Any other questions?"

"What about their parents?" Paige asked evenly.

This was territory he was hoping to avoid. "What about them?"

"Well…are they gonna know?"

"I don't know," Gray said. And truthfully he didn't. That much detail was not explained to him.

"What's going to happen to them?" Jordan asked carefully.

Gray just looked at them, "that's not up to me to decide." He met their gazes clearly seeing the displeasure in their eyes. "You have your assignments," he said dismissing them.
