It may not be what immediately springs to mind for a honeymoon location, but we had a wonderful time in the Windy City! From our posh accomodations to shopping to theatre, we had time to have a lot of fun!
After a night in the fabulous Palmer House, we moved on to the Raphael, where they upgraded us to a suite for no extra charge! We recommend both these places!
Geja's Cafe... both of us agree that it is our most unique dining experience. A very romantic atmosphere and great food. Three fondue courses: cheese, meat and vegetables, and chocolate! Delicious and so much fun...
Here's Bob contemplating our tickets as we get ready to attend "Welcome Yule!" This great concert was performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and their Chorus. This definitely put us in the Christmas spirit! We also attended "A Christmas Carol" at the Goodman Theatre, as well as "Tony 'n Tina's Wedding."
Brooke poses in front of a Christmas tree near the John Hancock Building. Previously, we visited the observatory at the top of that building... on the 94th floor! Chicago was beautiful at night from such a height. We had a great view.
