Getting the alignment and
spacing right is the most important. You want to run the
wheels with about 1/2-3/4inch
space between them. Make sure they dont rub while
turning, and make sure you
keep the axles parallel.
Depending on how much flex
your board has depends on the how much to vary the
thickness in riser pads
you use. I run a fairly stiff board and only less than 1/16 of a
difference. This has the
leading truck touching the ground while the other is just off
the ground but when you
sit on it you want the amount of weight to be distributed
equally.
I put 1 washer each underneath
the two rear bolt holes in the leading truck to slightly
increase the kingpin angle
to help reduce scrub due to the different turning radius
that the two front trucks
will have. Some people do this other ways but this works
best for me.
To run a fourth truck on
back, mirror the exact same thing from the front to the
back and treat the rear
most truck like your leading truck on the front. Both inside
hangers should be off the
ground a tiny bit when it is on flat ground with nobody on
it, and when in sitting
position on the luge all 8 wheels should touch.
