Your Game

You broke my heart,

It was just a game to you.

You said the words to draw me near,

Then you laughed at me for what I did not secretly hear.

You acted all smooth and sweet,

Then you turned around and I didn't exist.

You had seemed this nice guy who understood,

You understood just how to hurt me.

You had beliefs you often recited,

But you went against your own pet peeves.

You at first had made me seem special,

But in the end the world revolved around you.

At first I was your girlfriend,

But at the end I was just more points in your game.
