Artemonas is situated at the north of Apollonia (2Km).Is not a remote village as is attached to Apollonia. Here you can find the most beautiful houses of Sifnos and is a must a day walkthrough all the village.Is the less "spoiled" place of Sifnos with not access to cars.Not sea view but not to much wind also. Here you will find a large part of Sifnos population and you can feel the atmosphaire of old Sifnos. |
Artemonas has lots of restaurants and hotels.Here also is the bus starting point.On the top of the village you will see the wind mills. Artemonas is a popular destination for Easter holidays as the atmosphaire here is fantastic.Is also a nice place to stay if you want to be at the centre and having Atremonas as starting point to visit the rest of the Island. |
