Kamares is largest village by the sea and the official arrival port of Sifnos. Is surrounded by nery high and steep hills but have view to west and the sunset is beautiful. All the boats are sailing here and that is why Kamares seems to be busy all the time. |
Probably Kamares is the fastest growing village in Sifnos as is the first and welcoming step for the visitor.Lots of Hotels and rooms will make your stay here a pleasure and you can find beautiful food. Nightlife is very alive with bars, clubs and cafe. At the arrival of the boats allways taxis and buses are here to take the visitors to the rest of the island. Car and moto rental firms are operating here. Kamares have a nice beach for swimming but a bit shallow. Locals the prefer a little area next to dock "spilia" dor diving. |
