Miscellaneous Artifacts

Below: A Signature Guitar Add from a 1989 Guitar player magazine. This add was for the Visionary models and consequently had Seymour Duncans dropped in. The model shown is an ODYSSEY. From the credit at the side of the picture it looks like Russ Heinle did the design personally.
Below is a picture of a Blue ODYSSEY. Don't know where it originated but I discovered it in the Altavista image library. This looks like the neck through design. This also has Seymour Duncan pickups. Displayed also is the custom hard shell case. If you have any Signature pictures please send them in!!!

Below: A handsome tobacco burst ODYSSEY. Check out the flame on that guitar! A big thanks to Robbie for these images.

Big brother, Little brother. An Orange EXCALIBRE with a figured flame maple surface stands shoulder to shoulder with a gun metal black First Generation CRUSADER. Wouldn't it be bliss to hear these two in tandem? The second shot is a detail of the EXCALIBRE's solid and meaty bridge. Only the best materials and designs went into creating a Signature!
Thanks to "Mr. TV" Tony for the images of this outstanding duo!

Shrouded in Mystery.....
This stunning and enigmatic VISIONARY has haunted the minds and hearts of Signature owners worldwide. Alas, the ocean of time has brought to our shores no news of its true fate. Rumor has it that it was the only one Russ Heinl took with him when he passed into the great beyond...
None really know of its true fate.

Below: The fine flame lines and curves of a neck through Signature Oracle.
These pictures originated from the extensive guitar stable of Jimi D.

Jimi D comes through with the goods again! This is a first generation gun metal black Oracle. Jimi has owned a stunning spectrum of guitars, including 3 Signatures (a 1-Gen Oracle, a 1-Gen Crusader and a 2-Gen Oracle). As Monty Python would say; "You luckee bastard! You Luckee, Luckee Bastard!". Click here to check out his web site and go purple with envy! (like I did). Thanks Jimi.

Gun Metal Black Aurora Signature Serial 1111 and Flip Flop Pearl White Oracle Signature Serial 1071.
It doesn't get any better than these two and here is why! These two exceptional specimens belong to Gavin Bradshaw, a rabid Signature freak. Gavin bought the Aurora from Irwin Laskey (a guitar salesman in Yorba Linda, Ca) in '89 after seeing his first RUSH concert. With the technical assistance of Bill O’Brien, Gavin had it set up with all original Rod Evans equipment to the exact specs of Alex’s famous "Great White" Aurora. The Pearl White Oracle has all original Signature electronics. Shown also is the backing neck plate with the Signature logo and Serial Number.

If you want to find out more or talk Signature drop Gavin a line on "signature1111@hotmail.com".

Neck through models almost exclusively came in transparent red and blue and a few came in copper or orange. But did you ever wonder what an emerald green Signature would look like? A bit of noodling in Photoshop reveals the answer!

Before and behind a legend.
What have we here? Looks like an Odyssey with a lush, immaculate pearl white finish but a closer inspection reveals a five way toggle switch instead of the normal 3 mini togles. This beauty also only has a volume knob. Could this be one of those ultra rare Prototypes we keep hearing rumors about? And what are those pick-ups? Can anyone out there help us with this real life Signature X-File?
Thanks goes out to Lance for presenting us with this mystery.
