Dear Members,

Did you miss the barbeque?? You really missed a beautiful day and lots of good food. Thanks to all of you who helped and brought snacks, desserts and really great items for the raffle table. Everyone had a good time. (Complete report on the BBQ at the meeting.)

For the program this month, Charlotte Le Doux will speak on Domestic Canaries.

For the third & last time and to be voted on at this meeting are the suggested changes in the By-laws: ARTICLE II OBJECT: The object of this organization is the purpose of Scientific, Educational, & Humane study of; the Breeding & Sharing Knowledge & Appreciation of all caged birds. WORDING TO BE CHANGED TO: The object of this organization shall be the Scientific, Educational, & Humane study of, the Breeding & Sharing Knowledge of; & the appreciation of all caged birds. ARTICLE III, instead of number (3) as now listed, insert a new number (3) which will read -- (3) Each member shall be entitled to one vote except in a family membership where a maximum of two (2) votes shall be allowed. Then that statement which is now listed as ARTICLE III, part (3) will automatically become ARTICLE III, part (4).

RAFFLE: We have the Howard Hansel's signed-up for this months raffle; we need two more persons to donate a bird or bird related item. Please call Delilah, if you can help out with a donation. Thanks!

DEADLINE for ads for the show catalog will be this meeting. Please have your ad written down so it will be ready to give to Ruth Mitchell.
