Santa Clara Valley Canary & Exotic Bird Club
March 9, 1975
Santa Clara High School Cafetorium

Dear Members,

The March meeting will be devoted to a Question and Answer period on canaries and finches. Since we have many new members as well as some old ones who would like to learn more about different kinds of birds, we will hold such meetings during the year.

Leonard will demonstrate banding, preparation of vents for breeding, nail clipping, etc. Joe Gordon will bring some Opal canaries, Chuck will bring some Zebra Finches, Allan T. some Parakeets, and Leonard Borders. The above people will hold small workshop sections with the above birds.

We plan a short meeting this time with plenty of time for questions and answers about birds. Bring your questions with you or state them orally at the meeting.

Will each member please send or bring with them an updated list of the type of birds they're raising for the directory? Send it to Delilah Quieto. If there is no change from last year do not send the list.

Remember that dues are payable now. Deadline is March 31st. We would like to get our fancy new directory typed up soon. Mail your $12 to Leonard Quieto Now. Sorry about that, send the money to his wife Delilah or Phis Dubois.

Judges for the November Show at the Santa Clara High School will be the following...

Wilbur Tallman - Washington - Red Factors
Robert Lambie - Canada - Type Canaries
Anthony Lopes - San Francisco - Exotics

Note - The Cage Bird subscription is now $5.00 per year.

The next Executive Board Meeting will be held at Joe Gordon's house on March 29th.
