It has been brought to our attention in order to be registered with the Internal Revenue Service, as a non-profit organization we have to change the wording in Article II of our By-Laws. They now read -
OBJECT - The object of this organization shall be the study of; the breeding; the sharing of knowledge; and the appreciation of canaries and all other types of caged birds. It is recommended to read -
OBJECT - The object of this organization is the purpose of Scientific, Educational, and Humane study of; the breeding; and sharing of knowledge; and the appreciation of all caged birds.

Last call, The SHOW CATALOGUE is being completed and any member wishing to ADVERTISE in it may do so. The price $2.50 for ¼ page, $5.00 for ½ page, $10.00 for full page - 8½ × 11. Please see Phil Dubois.

The Judges for our show Nov. 26-28, will be Red Factors - Chuck Hudson from Seattle, Washington, Type - Bob Thompson from Los Gatos, Exotic - Bob Nielson from Coqelle, Oregon, Budgie - Hugh Wilson from San Jose, and Non-Red Factor Non Type - Leonard Quieto. We have expanded our divisions to 65 divisions. Sounds like we will have a real good show. The goal is to have over 1000 entries. Let's keep those babies going or coming so we may hit our goal.

Bring all those beautiful plants you have been babying for the raffle table. Our April raffle was very nice.

This meeting we will have workshop sessions. it sems like last month we did not have enough time to really get into them before the meeting was over.

It is possible that we can get glass cups for show cages and breeding cages, remember them, at 60 cents apiece. If we get a large enough order it might be less. Contact L. DiMaria.

Due to our meeting being one week earlier, I do not have an article for the newsletter. If any member has a short article they would like to share please get it to me and we will all thank them.

Sincerely in the fancy,
Lorraine DiMaria
