Dear Members,

Those of you who have been unable to attend our meetings & potlucks are not only missing good food, but some real down-to-earth information on the different varieties of birds. At the last meeting Allen Thompson & Chuck Arella did a real fine presentation on Cockatiels, Parakeets & Finches. This month Dianne Klyn has invited Mr. Joe Mello, from the Fremont area, to speak on The Breeding of The Large Hookbills.

Last month we asked for donations to the Court Fund for the A. F. of A. and thanks to you generous people, over $150.00 was collected from individuals, plus numerous members sending their donation directly to A. F. of A. along with Phil Dubois. Any questions or problems the A. F. of A. might help you with, give either of them a call or let them know.

There was a question about the Feather Show being held at the Pet Faire in September. Checking back through the minutes, it was passed by "show of hands", the Feather Show & Pet Faire be combined.

Chuck Arella has had some beautiful club decals made to be put on your car bumper or on the windows. There are two kinds and sell at .50 each. Be sure to get them from me at the meeting or send to me for them. They're BEAUTIES!
