Dear Member,

As you have probably noticed, the monthly meeting is 1 week earlier to allow members of the club to attend the show in Fresno on the second weekend of this month.

This is a very important meeting for all to attend. There will be nominations and election of officers at this meeting and also many things concerning the show will be discussed. Also be prepared to sign-up for donations of food for the banquet and lunches for the show days.

We have had a great response to the Blue Chip books or $3.00 per member for the show raffle and we thank those of you who have responded so well, but thre still are a few who haven't had a chance to contriute. Nov. 4th (meeting day) will be the deadline for the contributions.

If you have not volunteered for a job at the show, we have plenty of “openings” available. How about you, what part are you taking in this big event? See or call Phil Dubois.

Catalogs will be available at this meeting. No catalogs will be mailed.

This year we are trying to especially build-up a Display Division. How about doing some artistic displaying of at least 1 or more live birds in a cage or setting? Trophies will be awarded!

Our pot-luck as usual, A-H, bring a dessert; I-P, bring a salad; Q-Z, bring a hot dish. Please bring your own tableservice and also something for our monthly raffle table.
