Well, the "Careful with that Axe, Eugene" compilation/Best of tape is finally done and ready for the masses. (Open the windows, crank up the sytems, and piss off the neighbors.) I've been taping and re-taping this for the last couple of weeks, in order to get the best versions from each year all on one 100' tape. Several fave versions had to be dropped because they were too long, causing Oakland '77 to get cut too early. As it stands, Oakland '77 ends 15" early, so no "thank you" from Rog at the end. :( I tried many a time! The overall sound quality is great, the versions below were selected based on SQ and performance... several were cut due to lousy SQ of the multi-gen copy I had. I tried but couldn't remove all of the hiss without killing too much of the high end (sorry...). As with most tape trees, the final Leaf copies probably have more hiss than we'd like to see and hear, so use your own filters on playback.

That's all I could squeeze onto a 100' tape. All variant forms of Careful have been listed with their titles, and are included together (for the first ever, on tape, on one location....).
