Database of Surnames

This page is being created because I have had requests to link to databases that would help with finding relatives. I would like to give this page a try and list sites that have huge databases of surnames on them.

If you have a site that has a great number of surnames that you have information about, and would like the site listed here, please email me and I will take a look at it. Your database will have to be on the web and be of help to everyone searching for ancestors in order to be listed here. If you have a site you feel would be of great help to someone else, please email me with the database url and let me know what nationality it should be listed under (i.e.... Irish, German, Polish, etc.....)

If you are looking for a specific surname on these databases, when the page is loaded up completely, go under 'edit' and select 'find', type in the name you are looking for and if it is listed, it will save a lot of time searching!
