out the following resources:
Icon and Cursor Creation: I am currently using AX Icons because it is not only easy, but costs less than half the price that Michangelo charges. It is a great editing tool for icons and can also be used for management of your icon libraries. AX Icons does paint gradients, and imports jpeg and bitmap files, as well. You can create your own cursors, both animated and static using AX Cursors, which is a great little utility and it is much better than the Michangelo, which is more expensive.

icons and curser images are original, however, some of my earlier themes,
contain some freely available multimedia files that came from the
Internet. Almost 100% of the sounds, which are edited,
cannot be copyrighted by me or anyone other than the original composer and
writer.
